I have an impressive resume with years of experience in the fields in which I have applied on these 2 "job boards." I have been applying for jobs -ACTIVELY- for over 3 months now and not ONE legitimate employer has ever contacted me. I have, however, been contacted by phony companies claiming to need someone in their telemarketing/sales department, along with one scam after the other. A couple of them re-directed me to websites where the links were broken.
I don't know exactly what's going on with these 2 "job boards/sites" but it is very fishy!
I also noticed that I am getting spammed to death with e-mails from everything under the sun, since I started using these 2 websites. I think they are both ust big, huge data collectors. They get your info and they sell it to other companies, and those companies, in turn, send tons e-mail spam to your e-mail address and spam phone calls! Someone else had posted a complainto n here about Simply Hired and mentioned something about a class action lawsuit. If that person is serious, I'd like to be included in that. I feel like I've literally wasted months of my time and effort applying on these sites and have received absolutely nothing but garbage in return. This is wrong and needs to end! It's bad enough being unemployed, looking for a job, and find out that they have wasted this kind of time spinning their wheels with no gain.
To anyone who is serious about finding a job - DO NOT WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS TIME ON SIMPLYHIRED.COM OR INDEED.COM. You will not get a single legitimate job offer from these 2 sites.
