SodaStream Reviews

Below is the first e-mail I sent to Soda Club. Sometime before sending this e-mail, I had called Soda Club

and spoke with Amy, a company representative, to get an address for returning empty bottles. She did send

me an e-mail providing the return address. She did not mention that there would be no refund of my deposit.

Every store clerk I dealt with at Bartell's, Costco, etc., referred to the $25.00-$30.00 charge for the

replacement bottle as a deposit in addition to the cost of the refill charges. I cannot find a copy of the e-mail

from Amy in which she provided the return address. As note, I spent an additional $27.00 on postage to

return the empty bottles. This is all the further relevant information I possess.

Amy,

Sometime ago, I returned three (3) 130 litre Soda Club CO2 bottles to you. I spent US$27.00 on

postage alone. I have heard nothing since. My intent was to get a refund of the deposit on the CO2

bottles and perhaps even be reimbursed for the postage I paid to return them.

When I started with Soda Club, one could return bottles to any outlet that handled Soda Club

products. Eventually, that policy changed so that dealers would only accept empty bottles as

exchanges for fully charged bottles. That is why I returned the extra bottles I had accumulated to you.
