I inquired about a 2009 toyota camry with 28K miles with a flood title they they had for sale. Alex I believe the owners name is said the car was like new and no signs of water ever in the cab. I bought car had it shipped to me and when the car shipper pulled up I knew right then I had been screwed. The paint looked as if someone had taken a high spped grinder and some rubbing compound and buffed off the clear coat and through the paint in many areas of the car. Then I Take a look at the tires and they were all mixed brand dry rotted and little dents all over the car with the front end sagging from where the car had a light collision. Then I start on the inside and the smell would make a person sick and mechanic grease all over the interior. After a closer look at the body I notice half the glass had been changed out from I guess an accident. They kept telling me how the car was like new so like a fool I bought it. I have bought other flood marked cars and have had good luck with them. Im fortunate enough that I can take a total ripoff and keep going but for some it would be their life savings. I laugh with my friends that the car floated down the Atlantic and they pulled it out of the Gulf. Buyer beware of these people because the truth does not matter to them.
