Spicer Auto Sales Reviews

  • Jul 16, 2015

I purchased a car from Dublin Motors in Dublin Georgia. When I purchased the car my daughter told them that we were moving back to Illinois. I purchased the car on June 2, 2015 and returned home. Before leaving I even asked the Sheriff department if I can take the car out of state and they said I could as long as I made my payments on time. On July 2, I overnighted my payment to make sure they received it on time, because they have a lojack in my car and I didn't want them cutting off my engine. On Mon July 6, my engine wouldn't start. So we called and Keith said they cut my engine because I didn't have insurance. I had insurance when I left and was unaware that they cancelled me because I moved back home. So they had Michelle call me and she said she would give me until Friday the 10th to get my insurance. So I said fine I would get it on Thursday when I get paid. So she reactivated the locjack so I could use the car. When if fact they had been lying to me the whole time and stalling for time. I got up Thursday morning to go get the insurance and the car was gone. What was worse was my deseased husband ashes were in the back of the car. We called and called and got excuse after excuse, Keith was even laughing he though this whole thing was a joke. Keith and Michelled kept telling us they didn't know who took the car or where it was. They didn't care that my husbands ashes were in the back of the car. It's like they were holding him hostage, when I finally did get them back I had to pay $50.00 it's like I paid a ransom. How do you process someones payment and take the car back the sameday. It's not like I was stealing it, I told them exactly where I was and even overnighted my payment to them. They refused to let us speak to Mr. Spicer, and wouldn't cooperated at all. Then I looked up the value of the car on Kelly blue book and found out that the car is actually worth $3700 retail and they were charging me over $7000. This is not a company you want to do business with and they are not to be trusted. They lie, cheat and steal. And now they are refusing to give my money back and I am going to complain to every government agency that will listen until someone does something about them.
