Sprint Corporation Reviews

Sprint phone company is the biggest ripoff their is. I paid my phone bill switched to another company, due to them marking up my phone bill every month with bogus charges. It all started when i went to sprint at Largo Mall to upgrade my phone. I got the upgrade he screwed up the upgrade I asked for. I went to the corporate office in Clearwater at countryside mall . They then told me that the office at the largo location is a third party so they couldnt help me out with my bill. They then told me to call the 1800 customer service number and follow the prompts which i did. A month later after i paid my bill with return recipt requested they turned me into the collections department. I called the collection agency they stated that they would hand back the collection form to sprint.

I then thought at this point after i talked to sprint everything would be taken care of as specified by the sprint representitive i spoke with. Six months goes by and I got a phone call today on 5/29/2015 from a collection department which over the phone they didnt identify themselfs as a collection agency. I told the collection agency what sprint did and that its not a debt when the bill has been paid. Sprint is claiming i owe 645 dollars, they have tacked on late charges on something has has been paid. I have spoken to many managers in their department and the same story reaccures,They say we will take care of it I send them the documentation on everything that is paid they delay everythging again and give my info to another collection agency. This company sprint is the most scam artists phone company i have ever delt with.

I was promise by a sprint representative that I was going to receive my $15 dollar credit per phone ( 2 phones = $30)for the next 23 months. I have the evidence for the chat that this was promise and they have not been giving me what I was promised. I call and ask about this issue and I was transfer to a higher person (manager) and he told me that there is nothing that they could do and that this was an error from the sprint representative. I change my plan because the $30 credit for my two phones was a great deal. I am very disappointed with this situation and what is more frustrating is that the manager told me that there is nothing they could do. I ask if they could cancel my contract without any fee because was not my fault that they promise something and then they couldn't honored. The answer was that I have to pay around $1000 to cancel my contract. I have been with Sprint for almost three years and I have never paid late. I would like to be honored with what they promised at the beginning.

I bought 2 phones but saw online, their prices were half what I paid and the billing on the receipt is so confusing, I had to call my credit card to understand how much I over-paid. I feel this is unethical if not fraudulent. I tried to return the phones but was out of town during the 14 day return period and they said I could only do it where I purchased them. It does not say this on the receipt and if I’d known, I would not have bought them.

So I called Sprint and the supervisor said since they were closed 2 days during the holidays, he’d extend me 2 days to return or if I wanted to exchange for the free Harmon Kardens sold only online, they’d credit me since I had not even opened or used my phones. Fair enough.

But on day 16, after waiting an hour, the store refused to return or exchange because the supervisor didn’t ‘notate it on my account’. How is this my fault? He said not to worry but to just give his name.

Also when I bought tablets a year prior, supposedly I'd set up a pin (that I don’t even remember doing) so my account can only be accessed with my Drivers license in a store. I thought this was fixed when I bought the phones but it wasn’t. To access my account, I must drive to the store! This is crazy.

Also when I bought the tablets, I only wanted insurance for one but the salesman ‘snuck it’ on both so I was charged over and over because they ignore requests in writing. I’m so tired of fighting companies and their constant mistakes. This one cost me nearly $2000. What a rip off. 2015-01-09

I want my frakkin Internet back the way it was. I keep calling tech support but NOTHING FRAKKING HAPPENS! Every time, it's the same thing...over and over. They want to troubleshoot the phone, but it works just fine when I'm at work without (that has no WiFi) so I am (to use a Maury-ism) 1042% positive that the phone is just fine. I finally flat out refused to go through the utterly pointless motions of trouble shooting. How d*mn many times can you go through taking the battery out for 60 seconds...update the prl...update the profile...update the firmware...do the ##72786# thing...before they understand that the phone *isnt* the problem.

And that I'm just flat out *not* pointlessly driving two hours to the closest repair store. IT'S NOT THE D*MNED PHONE! And how can you tell me that I'm out of range to the closest tower when I've been streaming just fine...from the house that I've been In for nearly 7 years? Yes, we've only got 3g service here, but it's never been a problem before. Am I hallucinating my house? Did I move and forget? And how the hell is it appropriate to push me upgrade to an iPhone or Galaxy S5 that will just renew my contract for another 2 years? It could easily be another decade before we get 4g.

Doesn't matter how fast the phone is able to go if the towers don't cooperate. Am I supposed to just sit around twiddling my thumbs and stare at a new phone hoping it will correct the problem itself? Grrr...I'm seriously considering breaking my current contract and go back to AT&T or verizon.... Sprint has gone from being a service that I could actively praise to being one that I'll try to steer people away from. No Netflix...no ustream...no YouTube...not even a 6 second Vine. I may just spontaneously combust. I finally got to speak to a "senior specialist" this morning after refusing to do all the troubleshooting...again.

She added a new twist by asking if anyone had asked me to just do a factory reset...as if she was going to suggest that I do that. I told her that I wasn't going to do that since the phone isn't the problem. She said that there are two open trouble tickets, but that she'd generate a higher level of ticket, but at this point, I have no confidence whatsoever that the situation will be resolved. When it still doesn't work in two days, I'll call for a fifth time. After that, I think it's time to call it a day and move to another provider. If, by some miracle, it does get corrected, I'll ammend this statement...but, even so, I shouldn't have had to call and go through the same crap every time I called.

I had two phones, one with and one with Verizon. I decided to place two services with Srpint and purchased 2 phones. I found out that the guys at Rohnert Park Sprint were idiots. After horrible service, I returned both phones and went to Verizon. It took me over 3 1/2 hours to return one phone. I paid cash and that was another story. They take Cash but don't refund cash. I was told it would take 6 - 8 weeks for my refund. I asked to speak to their Manager. There isn't one. I asked to speak to the Owner - there is none. I asked if there was a Regional Manager. They can't give out number.

But I did get his email address. I wrote and was promised a response back. Didn't get one. Later found out he had an emergency. I got my 2nd refund but also got billed for services after I had left. I then got collection notices for $160; $240 and $370. I contacted Edwain Pawley - regional Mgr. He promised again, he would get back to me. Well, since 9/8/14 - and 10/8/14 - No response as of today 10/26/14. Yet, I m getting Collection Notices with no help from them.

I called the 800 # but they don't speak english. I call back and get someone else - but I no longer have an account. Needless to say, I am getting nothing but the run around and headaches from their sloppy service and idiots for employees. I fiigure I will just go ahead and sue them since they are so backwards and incompetent. Don't go Sprint. Don't purchase their phones. They create more problems for everyone! There is NO Customer Service and No follow up withany issues. When I asked about my refund I was told I got it for the over billing. I said I only received the payment for the return on the phone. I paid them 105 Cash!.

Trying to save my family some money we switched to sprint's framily plan. ended up costing me more so i called just to ask about switching back to my old plan. 20 minutes on hold later the guy from sprint customer service just says done! ok i also needed to setup a payment arangement. no problem this day,$4000 in 3 months. includes early termination because i am so done with sprint.

call today to arrange paying early term. fees and remaining balance and was told i have 14 days. no arrangements are accepted. if i keep a line on i can have up to 45 days. only way to make arrangement is through collection agency. really sprint now my credit suffers because you guys baited and switched me. that is the lowest thing ever. i guess that'll teach me to try and save money to provide for my family.
