Steve Rayman Chevrolet Reviews

  • Jan 15, 2015

I purchased a 2012 Dodge Journey from Steve Rayman Chevrolet on 01/31/14. Within a week of purchasing the vehicle, I explained to my sales person, Miami Lee, that my front bumper was not laying flesh and he had me drive to the back of the dealership in order to have his body mechanic put a clamp under the bumper. I went on and thought nothing else about it. My vehicle overheated on 12/31/14 on the way to work. I had the vehicle towed to Ed Voyles and they informed me that they could not get the bumper off as it had been glued on to the car. I reached out to Ivan (the used car sales manager) and David (the dealership manager) and they both told me that they know nothing about it and that it is my responsibility to get my vehicle fixed. The problem with this is that I have done nothing except purchase a vehicle and now I am supposed to spend $850 for a bumper that I never damaged. I filed a claim with the BBB and the response from the dealership is that the sold the vehicle in good faith AS IS. My question is how do you do a 120 or 125 point inspection and never have to deal with the bumper. I feel as though I have been taken advantage of and looking at the complaints on this dealership, they have taken advantage of several others.
