I received a letter advising me, "Per our ["Nancy Stovall" of "Stovall & Assoc, 2600 S Loop W #802, Houston TX 77054, (713) 909-3131"] records we recently acquired your defaulted pay day loan." The letter is dated June 16, 2015, and it threatens "fines" and "incarceration" if I do not complete the "Settlement Offer" of "$750.00" on an "Accrued Balance" of "$2587.00" This letter "RE: Default Notice & Intent to Accelerate" is fraudulent and sent in an attempt to defraud and extort money by deceptive and fraudulent means. This letter was mailed from North Houston, TX. (the above was also reported by Kharma on June 8 from Michigan)
I contacted the property manager of the building at this address. There is no Suite 802 (there are only 6 floors). I received the exact same letter months ago from a company named Lawton Litigation. I forwarded a letter to Lawton Litigation and the letter was returned undeliverable as there was no such address.

The letter is dated May 22, 2015, and it threatens "fines" and "incarceration" if I do not complete the "Settlement Offer" of "$840.00" on an "Accrued Balance" of "$2520.00" This letter "RE: Default Notice & Intent to Accelerate" is fraudulent and sent in an attempt to defraud and extort money by deceptive and fraudulent means. This letter was mailed from North Houston, TX. These acts are criminal in nature by the perps, illegal and punishable by law, to include FDCPA and FCRA violations, in addition to identity theft.
