Strathmore's Who's Who Worldwide Reviews

Representative (Ncicole Crumb) used fast talking, bait and switch. Rep made an unauthorized charge to my card and stored my card information in their files without my permission. '

I made a one time transaction with this company months ago. The rep called me about some professional of the year package. She talked so fast and made it sound so enticing she never mentioned about a charge to my card. If she had told me there would have been a charge, I would next expected her ask me what card I would I have liked to use. She did not she went ahead and charged my card that she had kept on file. Funny, how I made my one year membership by making payment in full by using two cards. How would she have known which one to use? Well, she just picked one of the two and made an unauthorized charge

I have had to many experience with compaines who make it very clear to consumers about ACH charges over the phone. They make sure that you understand, state the charge, repeat the card number information that you provide and inform you whether it a one time transaction or a reocurring. Most do not do reocurring.

Bottom line, Strathmore does not practice standard business industry practices on billing consumers. They instead practice ambiguity towards consumers and talk in ways that I consumer such as would be very confused.

That is dead wrong. Consumers need to be protected and make very much aware about any transactions they perform over the phone as well as what will be done with the information once the transaction has been completed.

This organization is a complete rip-off. It represents itself as a "who's who" and charges an outrageous amount of money for inclusion. It promises a great deal and represents many "benefits" of inclusion. What is not said is that each of these additional benefits also have a price. The sales tactic is to call to discuss the benefits as though they have already been paid for as part of the benefits of inclusion. At the end of the conversation there is then a statement (not a request) that they will charge your credit card. There is constant upselling through repeated calls. Each new "benefit" carries a price but the scam is the same--a call discuss the benefits of inclusion followed by a statement that they will charge for this benefit.

The organization is a total scam. It claims to promote listings on their website but it is impossible to find the listing and there is no effort to promote the site so that anyone would ever go there.

Stay far away from this organization. I suggest just hanging up on them.
