I was looking for the best way to manage my loans and came upon the website Student Loan Bail out. I am already in the income based program with Navient who was assigned to me by the dept of education and was already in the income based program in which I submitted documentation for review each year. I called the 1 800 number that is listed with studentloanbailout.com and spoke with a man who calls himself Mike. He told me that the program I was and am currently in was a rip off that I continued to be in this program until Navient received the last cent and that they will string me along until that was accomplished. Mike proposed I go with his program of set payments for the next 10 years since I am a public servant and have loan forgiveness in 10 years. Student loan bail out sent me the same forms I had been sending each year and another for my employer to sign for the public servant. As it turns out I am not eligible for loan forgiveness for pubic servant per Navient and I am already in the program that paid Student Loan Bail Out $500 for. The Dept of Education helped me to establish the income based program for free and it transferred to Navient when it was assigned. Student loan bail out is now trying to take credit for something that was already established they sent me the forms that the lender sent me before every review and i had to fax them to the dept of education my self. I people to know that this is a free service and do not go through these companies that charge fees for this unless you are looking for convenience of some sort. Of course they do not return your calls. And responded to one email that I taking credit for what i had already done. The advertisement says money back guranteed if the dept of education refuses your information. Beware!
