Summit Broadband will frustrate you at every turn. They advertise a low price for a reason. They are dishonest, incompetent, uncaring. I am dropping them today. After months of lying to me, they made a new impossible demand today. Don't believe any of their lies. They lied to me repeatedly and don't care. Check BBB. they have the worst record in the state for a reason.
Took months to get service. Then internet and phone went down. Cancelled phone in October 2016. They still bill me $30/month for phone. I have called a dozen times. They give me "order numbers" to prove they are really going to cancel the phone. When the fail and I call back to complain, I give them the order number. They either say it doesn't exist, they can't find it or--my favorite--we thought you just wanted us to fix the phone--and we will maybe someday somehow. For internet, they can never send anyone while we are there. So it never works either.
Dreadful company. All of the employees have given up trying because they know nothing works.
Please be advised that summit broadband is a rip off. I have been calling for over a year now to have my service corrected. I pay 29.95 a month for 15 mb down and 5 mb up but only recieve those speeds intermitently. my speed today is 7 mb down and 4mb up. which means every time I try to load a web page a I receive a an error message page not available. this has been going on for over as year now with over 10 service calls and no results. If you are considering dealing with this company i advise you to find another ISP. I will be trying to find an attorney to try to recoup a years wort of internet charges.
Try calling these people to ADD a service. On hold for interminable lengths of time. "There are 24 calls ahead of you" (then music for as long as you can take it...no pick up)
Can't believe they are a real company. perhaps a front. Do not use these people. we were forced to use them in our residential community by an association who was bought off.
