This apartment complex is horrible. They don't fix anything! And on top of that the lady in the office Andrea is rude. When I first moved in this complex i hade roaches ! They were everywhere in my kitchen and bathroom! Funny thing they werwnt there when I did the walktbrought before signing my lease. It took them A YEAR to get rid of the roaches. When it was time to renew my lease of course I checked "no" on the slip. However Andrea locked the mail slot to the office and said I didn't get the slip in one so I had no choice but to renew my lease and that she would charge me 4 months rent just to break my lease. When the inspector came to my apartment he gave them a list of things that had to get fixed this was last summer and I'm still waiting on them thins to get fixed. My carbon monoxide alarm doesn't work and my carpet has no threshold to hold it down between the kitchen and dining room I nearly broke my leg tripping on it! The pRking is horrible I complained to the office about my neighbor having 5 cars when's there's only 1 parking spot per apartment and nothing gets done . They keep saying they are going to start towing cars that doesn't have a permit but that's a lie! They even lied about being fully renovated the only thing new in my apartment is the counters which weren't even nailed down the cabinets when I moved in. My tiles in my kitchen were cracked when I moved in n my carpet wasn't even new. The only thing they did was paint. They said they ran out of money to contindie to renovated but they just put brand new vending machines in the laundry room.They let people graffiti all over the mailboxes and signs they don't plow or salt early enought about time they do the snow already had stopped and the ice is already formed. I fell on my door step because they didn't salt properly. My lease is about to be up and I refuse to renew it here !
I absolutely loved it here wen I first moved to Summit Place Apartments. That quickly turned for the worst when Carol O stock was promoted and no longer worked in the office. She was the sweetest lady I absolutely loved her. Unfortunately, the front desk girl Andrea McDonald was then appointed as the head leasing consultant/ manager. This is the worst thing that could have happened to this small community. This woman is absolutely unqualified for the job. I really have no idea how she attained this position. It started in the Summer when my air conditioning broke. I informed the office of this several times 4) over the course of a month before they decided to send someone out to have it fixed. So I thought,... the first time the maintenance came in and played around with it and soon after informed me that it wouldn't be able to be fixed untill a week later. May I remind you this was in the middle of the summer and I had a 4 month old baby at the time. My apartment went all the way up to 98 degrees inside!!! I have included pictures. The next time the ac guy came out he was unsuccessful yet again and I had to wait another 5more days in the blazing heat with my newborn baby. They offered me a portable ac unit which did not help at all and leaked all over the rugs. It was a complete mess. I went to the office to ask for other accommodation and Andrea called the cops on me! She said she felt threatened because I refused to leave the office until a solution was made. She then went on to tell me that she was not going to have my air fixed at all. Fortunately once the police came they were very understanding and informed me that many other residents were having problems with Andrea Mcdonald and her unqualified secretary Mckinny. The police officer made it a point for my air to be fixed the next day and it was. Another issue was with payment arrangements made with the office, lindenwold is a very low income area and the people here for the most part are all doing what they can to get by. I was just going back to work and had to pay my rent late. I paid in full including late fees and was still referred to their attorney for eviction. This woman is very "eviction happy" I think it makes her feel good about herself to see people lose there apartments. This woman Andrea is extremely rude and unprofessional as well as seeming very unqualified for her job. They have even sent me letters about rental payments being late that were already made and paid in full. I really believe they were hired off of craigslist or something. It's so sad. This was the worst thing summit place could have done was making her manager. I actually feel sorry for her because anybody as heartless, rude, and unprofessional as she is must have really low self esteem. She gets a kick out of seeing people evicted and lose there homes. I recently put in my 60day notice to terminate my lease I can not wait to get out of this place. Anybody looking to move here you have been warned DO NOT MOVE TO SUMMIT PLACE APARTMENTS!!!!! You will regret it.
