I'm not sure if all of their dispatchers are as clueless as the one I had but when I drove for them back in 2000 I was dispatched to run from their Ellenwood GA terminal to their Knoxville TN terminal and back 5 consecutive times without stopping to rest in between at all which is ludacris to say the least, seeing how just one of those round trips is about 10 hours by it's self, but to do that 5 times straight would be something like 50 straight hours of driving without stopping!
Back in those days, as the older drivers will remember, the hours of driving rules were 10 hours of driving and 8 hours of down time so to drive for 50 straight hours without stopping would have been absurdly illegal at best.
That was just the final straw or nail in the coffin for me with Stuper Service as I was always forced to run 2 or even 3 log books because of them always running me way over hours, so after that last ridiculous dispatch, I brought my truck straight back to the house, emptied out all my personal belongings, took my truck back to Ellenwood and left it there and never looked back!
Now, it's 2015 and I'm not sure if things have changed since my time there or not but they certainly left a bad taste in my mouth and I certainly learned something from it as a cautionary tale.
