SupplementWarehouse.com Reviews

Supplement warehouse is an online supplement store whose biggest claim to fame is that they offer a 5% price match guarantee. I've tried using them twice now, thinking maybe i messed up on my price matches or they expired without me knowing. That wasn't the case. Apparently they only give price matches on, well nothing.

I wish I would have come here and checked before i tried to order from them because there are other consumer issues regarding their price match guarantee. Twice now I have put $70 worth of items in my cart, utilizing their price matches to shave off about $15 off my total, and each time they send me an email saying they couldn't verify my price matches and are now going to charge me the full price, over $85. What a bunch of scam artists this place is. They even manage to hide at the very end of their policy page a second price match policy which lists the reasons why they might decline a price match, which turns out to be any reason they feel like so they can still get more money. Luckily I have not been charged yet. I sent an order 2 days ago, and immediately contacted them with my issue but have yet to recieve a response.

Look if you offer customers something, fallow through with it. Don't get peoples hopes up and then try to rip them off. Its obvious supplement warehouse is in it for the money and don't care one ioda about their customers. They throw out lies to get some people to order from them and try to rip everyone off the first chance they get. My case might be meager compared to other peoples on here but I still wanted to get this out there and try to save others some hassle since it coincides with other reports. All I know is I am now trying to avoid this place like the plague and advise others to also.

I ordered some items from this company because of there low advertised prices. I thought I would be getting fresh, consumable products. After receiving my order almost three weeks late, I opened the box to find products that had expired in 2009. I thought it may have been a mixup and they had just made a honest mistake so I called supplemental warehouse 1-800-545-8012 where the phone system continually hung up on me. I tried emailing them at [email protected] and waited for a response but never received one. I tried going to there website and using there customer service contact page but only received autorespondence. After about a week I finally got through to someone and explained that everything I received has an expired use by date. There response was yes that is why it is so cheap? So now after throwing everything away because they do not give refunds and I find out that everything I ordered changes chemically after the use by date, I went into GNC to buy what I needed. I find out from GNC employees that this company has been doing this for some time and they get complaints about it but they cannot do anything except warn the public. Apparently supplemental warehouse buys up other stores expired, ruined or discarded products and sells them on the internet as fresh product. I really thought the FDA was supposed to monitor places like this? Shamefully deceitful!

After browsing around online for the best price, I decided to purchase a supplement from supplementwarehouse.com due to their "fast shipping" ads eagerly plastered all over the website (I needed it FAST). They're in Wisconsin, i'm in Arizona, I ordered on a MONDAY (8/11/14) & with all things considered (including previous experiences with purchases from other companies in their same area), I figured I would get the item quickly... Nonetheless, this was my 1st time purchasing from this company & I knew I was taking a risk. In short, the original tracking number never worked (I sat here like an idiot trying to track my item over & over). The website will say your order ships via USPS, then the confirmation email will say your order shipped via Fedex, then the "Your Orders" screen (also on the website) will say it shipped via USPS, then when you call in they tell you it shipped via USPS by way of some shipping company nobody has ever heard of before (aka- "osm worldwide")... I had to call back & forth several times, sitting on hold between the Supplement Warehouse & the supposed shipper: No 1st-time customer should EVER have to do all that legwork just to receive an item that they purchased a week ago, & the process was a total headache when it should have been so easy (I only ordered ONE item)...

By the time I got a valid tracking number (after calling Supplement Warehouse & fighting with their IVR system [which won't allow you to speak with a human if they have more than 1-2 calls in cue]), tracking info said that the package was "delivered" on that morning (8/18/14) at 8:16AM. USPS never delivers non-express mailings in the morning, yet I was home all day regardless, I never saw the postman & to this moment I still have not received my package (although the USPS tracking system says it was "delivered"). I called back to Supplement Warehouse AGAIN only to be told that they would put a "tracer" on the package which would take another 1-2 days or more (which means i'm waiting a week + 1-2 days [or longer] for an item that should have arrived in 3-4 days).

Here's my question: Why not make an effort to remain focused on your NEW customer & simply re-ship another order overnight for their inconvenience? Why not take ownership, show some type of empathy for the customer when they call in & go over & above to take care of them (instead of showing an overall lack of concern & ultimately making them feel like they caused the issue)? At this point, I was done waiting/playing games with this ridiculous company. In the end, I had to go through the hassle of calling my cc company to cancel the order, then I’ll have to order the item all over again from another company & push my new diet plan back ANOTHER week (now 3-4 weeks total, thanks to the non-customer focused company known as “Supplement Warehouse”). They completely ruined everything I was trying to accomplish after battling with health issues & trying my best to change my life for the better, & now I had to readjust everything because of this company’s incompetence. This may be breaking news to some people, but nobody should have to play guessing games when it comes down to what shipping carrier you use &/or how long it will take for the item to arrive (ESPECIALLY not a 1st-time customer who has thousands of followers across several social media platforms). If you say one thing on your website, then DO IT (as opposed to doing the total opposite once you have someone’s hard-earned money). That's called false advertising, & last time I checked this was illegal... Also, if someone calls in & asks to speak with a supervisor, for God sakes put a supervisor on the phone (it’s called good customer service & chances are they have a good reason to ask for a supervisor).

This experience reminded me that you get what you pay for & I won't be buying from Supplement Warehouse again (nor will I be suggesting them to ANY of my friends/family). Yeah, it’s nice to save money, but I couldn't care less about saving a couple dollars when I know that the customer service is going to be lousy when going with the “cheaper” option. Good to see that a couple others have had better luck with their orders, but in my case Supplement Warehouse made a HORRIBLE 1st impression & the experience was a complete turnoff to say the least. The sad part is the fact that they could have made it right had they taken ownership & actually treated me like a human being instead of another number in their database. Had Supplement Warehouse actually been focused on my concerns as a customer, my next purchase with them would have been a 3-4 month supply of protein shakes (costing several HUNDRED dollars), but thank God I didn't place that order since I probably would have been waiting 5-6 months for it to arrive. Unacceptable/never again
