We have recently moved to California from Dayton, Ohio and this was our ( Me and my Husband) first visit to Shutter Gould Medical Foundation, Tracy, CA. We have united health care insurance and our company motivate yearly Physical check up for family. We have been doing this since last 4 years. We have the same insurance since last 4 years and our insurance cover the yearly physical with no extra charge, not even the copay is required. We have done yearly physical for 3 years in Ohio at Primed Physicians, 243 West Central Avenue, Springboro, OH 45066 and have never been charged anything for the same.
This year we went to Shutter Gould Tracy and they have sent us a bill of $238.10 for me $47.60 for my husbands yearly Physical. As per our insurance they haven't billed them under correct code and thus they are not able to fully pay for it. We requested the billing department to correctly charge our insurance again and they have again sent us the same bill.
I don't know why & what went wrong but as a consumer I am feeling cheated and scammed. The same yearly physical use to cost me "Zero" for three years and all of a sudden in a new medical clinic it's costing me $300 dollars. We have many company colleagues and now I am planning to request all, not to go Shutter Gould Tracy for yearly Physical because of fraudulent charges.
I am so scarred of this medical facility that I have taken my kids well check up appointments at another clinic.
