I ordered a transmission from SW Transmissions on 10-03-14, that states there is three days delivery time. Then when you finished paying for it, another window pops up saying "It will take 7-10 business days just to fulfill the warehouse order, 3-7 business days for delivery, and that it could take up to 28 days for delivery." WHAT??? I called Meineke and they said they would wait. So we waited, 25 of the possible 28 days, and "It came with the old filter and fluid still in the unit, and the box was nasty dirty", according to Oscar Medina, Store Manager at Meineke. After installing the unit, Meineke test drove the car. "It clunked into and out of gear, from the very start", according to Oscar Medina. He tried to get a hold of SW Transmissions for a number of days, with no success, so he tried a cleansing agent. After test driving the car again, the noise persisted. I got voice mail when I tried to call, and personally waited 25 minutes of ringing, for this voice mail to pick up. The sales line works perfectly though! Imagine that! Oscar Medina talked to someone there though on Oct. 31st, and they said they were sending out a new transmission then. So we waited some more, and nothing came, no emails saying the new delivery date or anything for two weeks.

So today I finally talked to Dale Jones who tried to tell me that there was no warranty at all, then he said Oh no, it looks like we are shipping a new part but there is no labor warranty!" I said there is too, it says 1 year or 12 miles parts and labor right on my receipt. and I have already made a complaint to the BBB too." He said "Oh really, then we are not going to do ANYTHING for you, have a nice day MAM," and slammed the phone down in my ear.

SW trans in the past sent me the right trans for my '86 chevy van But when I purchased another trans for my '92 Dodge van, the bolt pattern on the converter did not match the bolt pattern on my flywheel, nor did it have the cutout for the sensor on the bell housing... SW has not called me back after my many calls to them. They sometimes hung up the phone on me... Their supervisor "Dale" has not returned my calls after several attempts.
