Thee absolute worse. Its sad when your on your apartment hunt, find the most perfect apartment for you, but it turns into the worse apartment for you because the staff that run it have terrible customer service skills....this is the story of 1527 North McCadden Place- Hollywood.

Money and communication go hand in hand. Well they should. When I pay a bill every month, that is me securing my trust that whatever is promised will be delivered and whatever help is needed will be, at the minimum, recognized. Trying to get in contact with this company has always been a task. You have to literally set time aside to try to contact this staff then another set of time to actually communicate with them.

This all started with a simple question, what is the move out or re-signing procedure once my lease is up? Because the question seemed so simple and so common to me, I decided to call the corporate office and simply ask. I didn't have the number saved in my phone so I did what any person living in the 21st century would do, google it. Upon googling the phone number, the results were are follows :

Everything was the same except the phone numbers. So what did I do, I called them both. The first phone call (ending in 2028) was the personal cell phone of one of the brokers (information I found out 6 phone calls later). He answered the phone with "hello" in a grungy, cigarette filled voice. I asked him was this SWI Realty, the managers of the apartment building I live in? He assured me it was. I asked to speak to a manager regarding a question about my lease. He hung up in my face. I repeated this action 3 times, and every time there was an odd un professional defense up and seconds later a click. I called that number back several times after that- he ignored me.By this time i'm upset, feeling disrespected and needing answers on the account of my lease is up in 2 months.

SO I fucking call the second number. A lady answers the phone "Corporate Office"-by the way WHAT KIND OF COMPANY does not introduce the title of the company when they answer the phone? What kind of company answers their telephones with "Hello"? We are not friends, and this is not a friendship call. smh. anyways...She answers the phone, I restate that I'm seeking to speak with a manager about my lease, she continues to answer with- what is your name", I answer. She asks for my phone number, I get frustrated and assure her that she has that information already. Then she lets me know that she can' t help me (without even hearing the question) says thanks have a good day and hangs up in my face (something all too familiar with this company)

THE DISRESPECT. The TERRIBLE customer service. The lack of interests. Dear God, hold my tongue!

Anyone well versed and well trained will have answers to common questions or the decency to acknowledge them.

People need to know how unprofessional SWI Realty is. Its not worth it. If your home shopping or apartment hunting and you see SWI affiliated with the property, take another route. Trust me. I wouldn't take the time to write this report if it wasn't true and if I wasn't effected in such a way.

I would love to go into detail about the numerous break in's, the roaches, the lead based paint, and the thin walls, the terrible management, the homeless lady living rent free, the high schoolers that smoke pot in the "secured" parking lot daily, or the frequent visits from the police.....but I'm only here for their TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE review because there is nothing that effects a person more than feeling disrespected. They will get no more of my money from me.
