Both bathroom toilets not flushing. When we asked the owner to fix it, he did nothing. Instead, he kept stalling and hoping we would just go away. Floor also flooded from the shower (owner claims surfers were in before us and clogged it with wax). Several items of ours were ruined.
The property is dirty, not well kept, old beds, the sofa stinks like body odour, the A/C in the bedroom did not work the last 2 days, and the A/C in the "living room" area would not stop screeching. There is no sofa. Just a mattress pushed up against a wall with a pillow behind it.
Other problems include the slumlord owner. He did nothing to fix our toilet for the entire trip. For 5 days we had this issue. When we confronted the owner about the issue upon checking out, I was physically assaulted by him.
I would never, ever recommended this hotel to my worst enemy. The horrible, old, ugly, run down rooms, pool, place in general, psycho hotel owner who will assault you, toilets not working, A/C not working.... just a horrible place. Spend your money elsewhere.
A gold chain and pendant was also stolen from our room, from the nightstand.
