I worked for them for 3 years and have witnessed this on several occasions. they do it every day. on top of that there's so much more they do which some of has since just been reported to the irs. but they can't get away with doing this cause it's not right. also they recommend services to cars when they don't need the service or if a customer comes in and asks for a service but doesn't need it instead of being honest and saying your car doesn't need it they don't do the service and charge for it anyway.
If you go in for a synthetic or synthetic blend oil change chances are they will pump the bulk oil in your car and not use the bottles. And if they see you watching from the window they grab bottles but the regular ones so you think you are getting good oil but really are not. Also say you go in and ask for a certain service and your car doesn't need it. Then instead of being honest and saying you don't need the service they will let your car sit there and pretend to do the service and still charge you for it.
