The Adult Hub has many affiliated sites such as 'Let;s Meet-up', 'Swingers' etc which all link into the same site. I know, as I joined up to both without realising they were basically the same site. Itarted off as unpaid and received many messages but couldn't read them as they were blurred until I paid. This is their trick to suck you in. What I didn't realise was that most of these messages were fake as after a while I noticed that I was getting the same messages from different people such as: 'Hope you like my profile Saw your profile and got all worked up. Let me know what you think of my profile' 'Im not far away from you, get in touch Give me a shout, I'm nearby!' (most were actually over 100kms from me and even interstate) 'Oh behave! Let’s hop on the good foot and do the bad thing! Get in touch if you would like to chat ;-)' 'I bet you £10 you're gonna turn me down lol Hi there. Great profile. Would love to chat. Hope to hear from you soon ???? x' (I'm in Australia so why would someone use pounds? We use dollars $)
Then I got a message from my other unpaid profile which I didn't send- WTF? What I didn't realise, naively, was that they would keep deducting a payment every 3 months. The day after I saw this on my CC statement, I rang up to cancel and ask for a refund of the last payment. Nicki at Adulthub was very abrupt and flately refused to refund although did cancel my subscription. I said I was not aware that this would occur so in the interests of fairness to customers and for goodwill she should provide a refund but she refused saying I should have read the T's&C's So beware! If you live in UK then you may meet people for adult fun but otherwise you'll just pass your time and loose money.
I created a profile after reading poor reviews to see if this was as phoney as some say.
Started getting profile views, likes and messages from other members within a few minutes.
Found out how to view "blurred" messages (they want you to pay to read them unblurred). All messages seemed "odd" and not real.
A couple of days later I created another profile with different login, email etc. Same thing happened. Several of same people viewed this profile, liked it, messaged me. Similar "odd" messages.
A day later .. both my profiles received messages from my other profile!! I had viewed myself, liked myself and messaged myself. Totally fake and not done by me what so ever!! Pure con job.
Decided to ask to have one profile deleted, no problems, was told it was done.
Was it?? Probably not .. they remove your access, but probably leave profile up to con and "fish" others. Will check with other existing profile and see if "deleted one" is still there in a few days.
I specifically posted on my profile that only VIP members should send me email and that I will not read any normal members email. Surprise, surprise I get 20 emails from non VIPs.
Fake responses, Fake replys and hundreds of fake accounts which send bogus messages to trick you into joining. It should be shut down 100% I have reported it to Trading Standards
Doesn't even merit 1 star! I am trying to cancel my subscription, which involves downloading, printing a form with more details of my debit card. I am instructing my bank to refuse any payments to this utterly false and scamming site. Beware those that sign up to this...you have been warned.
Complete and utter con, the site sets up fake profiles and then generates fake messages to you, when you reply you NEVER recieve a answer in 99% of the messages you send, in the 1% that reply it's to tell you they never sent the message to you!, my advice Dont waste your money on this site
This company helps adults meet other adults for adult fun. They probably have many happy customers, but the fraud you, certainly when new.
You set up a profile for free and then you start getting messages from 'members' starting conversations.
These messages are system generated. They are not from real people. But the messages make you revisit because you think someone likes your profile.
By their own admission to me these messages are not real, it just gets people starting to keep going in. They did cancel my membership, but would not give me a refund.
Complete and utter waste of time, effort and money! doesn't matter if you pay or not, its rubbish and seems totally populated by fake and duplicate profiles and a few predatory men! I agree with other posts and found it a very disheartening experience.
