We did not agree to continue paying Alaska Club indefinitely. They continued to bill us, after we canceled by phone call and after going in in person. They gave us the run-around, they added elusive conditions to our agreement, they added a second page to the contract we signed, they continue to bill us for services we did not use nor did we ever agree to. They seem to be under the impression that our hard-earned money belongs to them. They are obviously successful in their strong-arm tactics to keep people's money. Advice to others - if you do wish to use them; MAKE SURE you read entire contract and where you sign, make sure you write "END OF CONTRACT; NOTHING FURTHER TO FOLLOW" so they cannot add a back page or further items. If there is a back page, make sure you agree to the terms on it. Do not allow for anything that seems unreasonable. Notice to cancel can be five days. It can be 10 days. It can be five years. You decide. They do not need to decide for you. Then, sign at the location on the back page or additional page where you and the salesperson agreed to the cancelation policy that you both agree upon. I would suggest a 10-day cancelation policy, via e-mail. Not a 60-day cancelation policy via an elusive written policy only they know and understand. This will save you hundreds of dollars. perhaps thousands of dollars. Also, if you go into their club to cancel, make sure you have the representative sign and date something showing you canceled. They will deny you were ever there. They must cover that in training.
