When this place was Tru it was a fun spot for all...but as soon as they reopened as Argyle Hollywood with new staff all of a sudden they wanted to make sure that they let as few people of color in as possible.
They will use tactics of demeaning you.
Charging you 300+ or saying you have to buy a bottle to get in....whether you are female or male. Doesn't matter.
They want to be seen as an upscale club and regardless as to whether or not you are upscale...if you are a person of color they don't consider you upscale. PAY UP $$$$
If it's a group of all white girls and 2 black girls doesn't matter...they will make up an excuse.
If you are a group of black, mexican guys....forget it. Unless you are buying a bottle service you will not be allowed entrance...whether you are on the guestlist or not.
If you don't believe me...look them up on Yelp. Plenty of other reviews....and tons of reviews by the promotion team trying to boost the ratings.
