This guy is a scam artist,I bought a $70,000 barn kit,sent him the deposite then he made me send more money,and then he stopped returning my calls for literally 5 months.He spent my money building a previous buyers barn and couldnt send my stuff until he got more orders from others.When I finally did get the barn shipped I had to not only pay for shipping(which was included in my contract)but I also had to contact the actual lumber company that sits next door to him and finish paying them for my stuff.It cost me another $15K to get my delivery and it was literally 7 months late.When it came I was missing alot of stuff.I had to spend another $10,000 in materials then the plans were so screwed up we ended up having to take down a quarter of the barn to fix it.I leter found all this negative stuff about him personally and his previuos companies,Uncle Howards barns and Penny Pincher.Do not send this guy any money unless you just dont care about your funds.He is a smooth talker but believe me he is a crook!
I had my barn built 4 years ago, using a Barn Factory kit. There were a couple of issues with the wood quantities, but Howard resolved these quickly. I have notes left on my gate commenting on my barn and asking who built it, from people who would like something similar. I have read some of the other comments, but my experience was very different. I found Howard both helpful and knowledgeable. My barn functions very well and still looks great despite some knocks from the 'occupants'.
I never recommend products, but I can certainly say my experience was a good one.
