WAST OF TIME AND MONEY

I am ashamed that I had to give them one star, HUGE waste of money and a bigger wast of time. If you are a contractor and thinking of uses this " service " think again, please. It will be a big let down. We requested to cancel our service, since we were incredibly unsatisfied and they would not let us. So we got stuck with 7400.00 left of a crap service. Spend your money else where guys!

Signed up for bluebook . Had a meeting with Dave Holland. Gave him info to create add. Told me he would get back asap. He informed me that his company had professional people. They will put together professional ad. Need to hurry deadline soon. (first red flag) Signed contract excited to be in book.

Period of time goes by haven't heard anything. Couple weeks later get a proof of ad. Looks like a 3rd grader put together. Call them the tell me its to late to make changes. You were given plenty of time to change. (lie) Dave and i had in depth conversations of what I wanted. I had a yellow page ad, I told him he could copy it.

Looked on internet at what was done. Could not beleive what was written. Called to change, no changes can be made at this time. Told them to remove everything. Sorry we can work this out. February comes first book showes up. Could not beleive my eyes. Called Dave he told me dont worry we will work something out. Next book showes up worse.

Ad's ridiculous, internet ridiculous.

What did I receive from bluebook ? Twenty phone calls a day from numerous companies selling something. Email box overloaded with work we didn't do.

Dave Holland contacted me to resolve issues. He offered nothing to fix issues. Everything was my responsibility to fix. All he could say is I will see what i can do.

Typical Dave made everything look easy breezy. Nice person to chat with. (redflag)

His answer to this was sign up again. Advertising with the Bluebook was a huge mistake.

The Blue Book Building & Construction Network / thebluebook.com / BB-Bid is a complete sham and waste of time, money and effort.

In 2013, my company signed up with the Blue Book to access their database of construction projects that we could bid on. Their sales rep was excellent and convinced us to sign a two year contract based on his assurance that we would be getting numerous, viable leads for projects that would increase our sales and profitability. After over a year and half of committing a significant amount of time above and beyond their subscription fee to data mine the information, taking precious time away from the effort of making real sales and struggling with their system, we still have not gotten a single lead that we feel is worth submitting a bid on.

Despite complaining to our sales rep and his boss that the system was not working for us, and letting them know that we have had zero success with their product, they said there was nothing they could do. When we asked to be released from our contract, the sales rep and then his manager refused. They were adamant that the problems we were having were from our not using the system correctly and not from their product. To prove our sincerity, I allowed them to train additional staff on the product, again, and followed through with their suggestions and even exhibited at their “The Blue Book Showcase” in Denver, CO. All of which resulted in nothing but additional wasted time, manpower and money.

We have never encountered another company that had such disregard for customer satisfaction. We have repeatedly let them know that we have gotten $0 of value out of their service and were deeply dissatisfied but they just do not care.

We have been polite and sincere in our request to be released from the contract based on that fact that their product is not a good fit for our company. All of our efforts have fallen on deaf ears and continue to be refused. Based on our experience, we want to make sure anyone else considering signing up for this terrible service knows what they are getting into. The Blue Book is the worst company we have ever dealt with and the service they provide is absolutely worthless.
