HERE IS THE COMPLAINT:

RE: "ORDER" # ALC xxxxxxxxx

YOU CHARGED MY ACCOUNT from an order placed SAT. NIGHT @ midnight

(Order number which was I tried to cancel minutes after I placed it as I had not been provided the

complete information on true costs prior to entering my credit card information

but found there was no way to cancel that order on line.

However, When I called the Customer Service number I was told by recording that your offices are only opened

Mon-Fri 7-5 PM PST. Of course I immediately called my Credit Card and told them

I was canceling the bogus order and why.

On Monday morning, Feb 2 @ 7 AM I called your office at 7 AM and your person,

ROSEMARY (# 2712), admitted that "Yes, she knew that

your company got the credit card information before your site disclosed the true

cost for the APP. She admitted that there was no way to cancel the order on line once credit card

information had been given."

(DOJ note: The program (consisting of cd's, written material was enhanced by

an "APP" which customers could down load for free (no additional cost) to our I-phones, enabling us to

click on and get calories for anything - also to get recipes for less fattening way to make

dishes (spaghetti etc) at anytime..which was THE IMPORTANT PART of this offer. (I don't think

anyone cares about written stuff anymore).

IT (the APP and the other diet stuff) was touted as ALL for one price

$ 119.00 ...but it is only after they get the credit card number that they 'mention' that the APP

is ONLY FREE FOR TWO WEEKS, and that then they have the right to BILL (in THIRTEEN WEEK INCREMENTS)

$4.99 per week ($64.87) and that the customer could cancel after that at any time.

IF you go on line, you'll see numerous complaints about people calling to cancel, not getting

any satisfaction and still getting billed!!! In other words I call this a SCAM.

I believe this company to be one of those who could care less about what they sell, it's just

the automatically RENEWAL charges of X dollars for them to bill that the company

really likes. A trap in other words.

DOESN"T CALIFORNIA have a 'FULL DISCLOSURE' Law? Whereby ALL the costs one would

be or could charged are disclosed BEFORE they get the Credit Card information? IF NOT, WHY NOT?

I was told by ROSEMARY (#2712) during my Monday Feb 2, 7 AM call "that I could call back the next day

(Tues Feb 3) and see if the cancellation had gone through".

I actually called back that same afternoon (Monday 2/2) and was told by another woman

that 'yes, my cancellation had gone through and the cancellation number was 0202 and to

put that in front of my order number and that would be my complete cancellation number. '

BUT ! TUESDAY I got another call from this same woman telling me 'the

credit card would still be billed after all, that she was "wrong" about the cancellation

and the cancellation number was wrong too.'

1. They knew it was cancelled first thing Monday 2/2/2015 before they had a chance to send anything out.

2. They cancelled it (according to them) on 2/2 in the afternoon and even gave me cancellation number

3. They called back next day (2/3) and attempted to say it was not cancelled after all!!

ANY legitimate company would have processed the cancellation first thing Monday

morning as requested as They had not had a chance to get anything out - even if package was being sent

out by a processing center across country- they still had ample chance to stop it from going out !!

I will refuse to accept any package from them. I will make sure my Credit Card company disputes this.

I detest companies that try to do things like this and since they claim to be in ENCINO

(CA) I hope you can investigate them and their MANY COMPLAINTS (see online)

with emphasis to FOODLOVERS/PROVIDA that ALL COSTS must be disclosed before

they gather CREDIT CARD information and/or there must be a way to cancel ON LINE

especially within seconds of placing the order !!!

It is companies like this and their dishonest presentations that harm American Business!!

SHAME on them. I expect full cancellation and more than that, I expect that in the

future, they be made to make a full disclosure statement about the TRUE COST of this app (or anything else)

before they ask for Credit Card information. How is this different from theft???

Food Lovers System may work to help you lose weight-so far I'm not sure, BUT it is the biggest scam that I have run into. When you call to order the plan, the customer service person will not let you off the phone until they run trough all they many many many other items they want you to buy. Seriously even when I said that I would cancel my order if she didn't stop trying to sell me more-she kept on. Also BEWARE!!---if they do talk you into "trying it for only a dollar" each item will have a different trial periond-vitamins 30 days, online is 2 weeks etc. From my point of view, they didn't make this very clear. They will charge your credit card, and WILL NOT GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK NO MATTER WHAT!! This is seroulsy the WORST CUSTOMER SEVICE THAT I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! Too bad, because even if the product works, they are getting a bad reputation.

I watched the TV ad for about 2 years, I finally decided to call and get this program. I called on a Saturday around noon central time. I gave my credit card info and then had to actually ask about the amount it was going to be total. They informed me that the total would be 139.98. I also was informed that I would be receiving an email confirmation with in minutes of the order being placed.

Later that day I called back to check on something. I did not get an order number and wanted it. The number I called was not the number I needed to contact for customer service I was told. I would have to call customer service Mon-Fri 8am - 5pm P. Time. I just wanted to know my order number and they rudely told me that they could not look up my order, that all they did was take orders. I called 2 other numbers and spoke with again 2 rude people.

So Tuesday I called to speak with a customer service rep about my order, once again it was someone very rude. I actually told him that they only charged me for the 1st month when i wanted to pay in full. The other thing I needed was an email from my order on Sat. He said the program had shipped out on Mon, but I still don't have an Order email. Or tracking #.

Called again today, it has been over 96 hours since I have placed my order and over 48 business hours since I have placed my order and still no email. When I called he told me it would take another 24-48 hours from yesterday's call. I ask to speak with a manager, or owner and he told me to hang on. Then he came back on the phone and told me that there was not a manager available at the time, that they would have to call me back.

I know that they will not call me back. I am honestly afraid that this is a huge scam and that I will be royally screwed over it. Why Me! Still no email or order confirmation or tracking # for my order.

I will never use this program again, Also I am very sure I will be sending it back as soon as possible. I am ready to cancel the program now and get my money back. before they screw anything else up. Horrible customer service and they will not survive with their business this way.
