I was surfing the net looking for an Attorney to help us with our mortgage. I was contacted by Marc Hoffman and he told me he could help us no problem. He promised to file against BOA and get the price of our home was over rated and sold to us and they could get the house at a fair market value. Then in the suit he would file to have have late charges dismissed and sue for an extra $30,000. He said out of that they get 30% and we would receive the rest. He said he used small groups people and was getting a good reception and they were settling out of court. However his fees $6,000 up front before getting in on the next suit it took me several months. I told him I had to skip my house pymt, to pay them he also knew I was disabled. Many times I would get a call and I was sick and crying because I was so ill, I didn't know if I was going to make it. But BOA set me up with a good manager we worked and agreement ony own. Then I got a call from another Attorney and he kijlquestioned me about my Attorney I told him who our Attorney was and he said I'm sorry to tell you but the state and Feds raided his office today with gins drawn. There was a drug operation and he was believed to have scammed up to 1.500 people and they froze his assets at $5 million dollars from his bogus business. File your paperwork if you were scammed by Marc Hoffman or his associates. We lost $7,800. I have filed with the receiver and Florida Bar State case and Fed case.
October 2012 I received a mailer from the Hoffman Law Group offering help with mortgage payments.
I spoke with James Oster.He explained to me that due to illegal practices of Bank Of America,I was entited to join a law suit of many who are in the same circumstances as me as well as lowering my mortgage payments and reducing my rate.
Ater many lengthy conversations i had gained his trust. I agreed to take part in this.During this process, monthly payments were made there were many e-mails and phone calls updating me on the case and confirming my trust.
I had tried to e-mail and call my new case manager Brandon Barker with no response.
Today I googled The Hoffman Law Group. I saw many complaints similar to mine.
Today I am scammed of $9.050.00. What do I do Next?
I was looking for help with Obama program and I found the Hoffmant low group and the offer me to help me no to loose my apartment they ask me 5000 dollars to star working on my case and the i Pay them 500 a mont for 6 montys consecutive in the mint time i lost my apartment and they did not do anything about my case
