This is a bad bad place to work. Those in charge favor people of their own ethnic religious background, if you are not of that background, they don't help you to get ahead. Mount Sinai change its logo. It puts up on website lines about diversity. They want to change their image. Ha! It's all just on the surface. The truth is if you aren't a member of a certain group they really don't want you to get the raises or the promotions or any of the breaks. People in the top spots not only know it goes on but they help it to go on. Caryn Tiger-Paillex is Director of HR and one of the ones who helps cover this up. All they would have to do is run an internal documents audit and they could find this out really easy. I have seen documentation that was signed by Caryn Tiger-Paillex so it exists, that is why I'm writing this now. She works for the dean! Something need to be done and done soon at Mount Sinai Health Care System -School of Medicine -Hospital.
