Nikita Maltsev runs an AdWords Credit Card Theft Scam!!!

My name is Greg and I’m a local business owner in Mississauga, Ontario. I met Nikita when I was getting my phone fixed a few months ago. We got to talking and he offered to help me out with my AdWords campaign as he claimed that he was running his business’ campaign and had the necessary knowhow. He asked for access, I gave it to him. He checked out my campaign and said he needs to move ti to a new account and would even be able to set me up with a $300 coupon from Google as he had a special relationship with them. For this he needed my Visa card. I gave it to him. To this point there was no mention of any kind of fees, he said he was just doing me a favor. However, he never did set me up with a new account. Instead Nikita Maltsev proceeded to charge my credit card in the amount of $1,638.50 five times before it got maxed out. When I saw the charges I didn’t know it was him, I called Visa and they said I had previously had a transaction from this company. To my surprise it was The Tech Know Space, his iPhone repair company! When I contacted Nikita he claimed that I signed a contract with him and agreed to be charged consulting fees in the amount of $1,450 plus HST for each consultation. I was in shock, as this was clearly a scam! I asked to see the contract, to my surprise he produced a contract with my signature. The signature was most likely forged from my signature on the work order for my iPhone repair. I opened an investigation with Visa, but it did not produce any results as Nikita supplied a fake contract and fake invoices. Please beware of this scammer! I’m sure this is not the first time someone has fallen prey to this scam artist.

Totally agree, TechKnow Space are scam artists

Thanks to the previous post from Greg about the theatrics the company Techknow Space pulls on honest customers and people. Take your business elsewhere, they have 2 locations and I would run, not walk, away from these scammers. Back in the summer I took a phone there (Samsung S4) to get fixed and they told me the main board was broken and the phone was unrepairable, this was after I brought it to them because there was no speaker output which I thought was a simple enough repair. After arriving to pick up my supposed unrepairable phone, I was charged a diagnostic fee as they had to open the phone to verify the mainboard issue. Then this Nikita clown tried to persuade me to give the phone to them so they could 'recycle' it. I got a feeling they were trying to pull something over me so I paid the fee and took my device.

Now here is where the story gets interesting. I took the phone to another shop (Buy&Cell) to have a look. Not only did they repair the phone by simply replacing the speaker, they told me after I asked, that the phone was never even opened! Wow, so I was right and this Nikita person was trying to scam me, take my phone and repair it to either keep for himself or sell on the side. Sorry to hear that this low life Nikita dupped you Greg and hopefully you get some restitution. If not, everyone and there grandma should avoid this place.
