These apartments are very well known for having lots of criminal activity being the news for shooting's murders and drug raids .My girlfriend and I were looking for an apartment for a temporary basis until we found a much safer area (thunderbird village seems to have alot of sex offenders living in the same area!)
because we don't have a criminal history just bad credit we thought it would be easy to move into such a place
when we filled out the rental application we was charged a $75.00 fee for ""background checks""
not even 24 hours later I recieved a call by thier manager being told they could not rent to us because I was a sex offender when I corrected her informing her I have never even been arrested and that I have a concealed weapons permit something that sex offenders do not get she then tried to claim something else in a lame attempt when I asked what kind of back ground check did they conduct because its either inaccurate or thier claims are false and I would like a refund
she claimed theres no refunds on back ground checks and hung up on me and would not return my calls when I attempted to go to the office in person she locked the door and closed the blinds and started yelling at me from the window she called the cops I waited around for the cops but they never showed
this place is a joke and just flat out stole money from me
