Ticket Galaxy is Evil

My husband was attempting.to purchase Def Leppard tix online.from Ticketmaster. He was rerouted to Ticket Galaxy. He purchased 2 tickets for the lower level with an awesome view of the stage. When.the e tickets arrived we were seated up in the troposphere. When we inquired about the change we were informed that the section we wanted was overbooked. I suppose I have fraudulent tickets to look forward to at the concert. This is my third attempt to see this group and something always interferes. I

A friend of mine got the number to buy tickets for Colt Ford from his cell phone. I called from my home phone, I was assuming I was reaching Ticket Master when it was Ticket Galaxy, most likely connected. I reached Adam T from customer service. I told him where I would like to sit and he tried his best to sell me $400 tickets. I ended up getting 3 tickets where I did not want (thought it was) for $66.00 each, plus fees. Total of $229.92. I received the tickets and realized it said Ticket Master and the tickets stamped $15.00 each. I tried to reach them by their e-mail and they just got kicked back, I tried to reach them by phone, customer service, they said was closed. I called my credit card and they are looking into this matter, but by the looks of everyone, this company gets away with this. Has anyone had any luck and what can be done with these people. Is Ticket Master involved??? and is Ticket Galaxy license to business in my State of Illinois. Does anyone know?? By the way I did get in touch with Paul (supervisor, ha!) I asked him for my recorded conversation with Adam T, and of course there is none. Plus he gave this e-mail address for his legal department - [email protected] They probably won't respone either.

I googled the venue where the Hank Williams concert was to be and these THIEVES came up. So I placed an order of 4 tickets. for 411.72

34 minutes later the venue send me an alert that tickets are now on sale going for 36.00 that's a total of 144.00 for 4 tickets. I Emediately called to cancel. Their response was " not going to happened. I stated they fraudulently advertised under the actual venue and that was wrong. still the lady sarcastically said you're not getting your refund, good-by. and hung up.

Charged 3 times face value on tickets that were far from a sell out show at red rocks. Bogus fee after fee added. Don't use them! !

It is legal to take advantage of dumb a_____ people, you have no recourse. Want to buy moody blues tickets at 1/2 price? Call 1 800 shm-ucks

TicketGalaxy sold me tickets that were not valid, charged insane fees and customer service was a joke. Would not cancel order or give me a refund. Do not buy tickets from them. They are ticket scalpers.

  • Mar 26, 2015

This ticket seller is a total rip off!! I was told there were no pit tickets available and there are! They will not exchange my tickets!! Way over priced!! Tickets are for Luke Bryan tour tickets at TCF STADIUM AT MN ON JUNE 20th. Never again!!!!!!! TOTAL RIP OFF!!

Price is right tickets

A scam. Printed my tickets to find out I paid almost twice what the ticket is worth. I cannot believe this is legal. Don't even bother calling them. A complete waste of time in addition to the money wasted. These people need to be put out of business and I am going to do all I can to make it happen. It has been years since I have bought tickets and I'm sure it was through ticketmaster. I don't think all these third party blanks were around. Go to the box office if possible and avoid the fees and pay a fair price.

Ticket Galaxy is a total rip off. Charged twice as much as the tickets cost. The original price for (2) tickets was $98.00 They charged me $202.00 I bought (2) tickets for a Dwight Yoakam concert thinking i was buying through the casino where is was being held. The internet sight is totally misleading!!

Buyers beware! I called ticket galaxy to talk to the person in charge, and they said he does not talk to customers. I learned my lesson and i hope this helps others before they make the same mistake i did.

I was told in no way shape or form would i be getting a refund.

Submit to your Credit Card Company

The same thing happened to me, disputed with my credit card company and did not have to pay. Found tickets at a more reputable site.

Complete scam!! These people are working in a network, under all sorts of names, ie; ticket galaxy, ticket network, seth R. was the original buyer of the tickets my husband paid an undisclosed FEE of nearly $200.00 ! They make it seem like your purchasing tickets at a regular price, when u receive the tickets, they are basic seats. These $ 58 , R. Kelly tickets, costed him $370. These are still available, not good seats and we are HEATED. I cannot believe my husband fell for this! Tickets say $58. Full price. We were charged $370+. When he called to see what happened, they said " that's what we do, sell other people's tickets , that's our fee, sorry, no refunds".. WOW. Now we have to do a bank dispute.

Don't buy from Ticket Galaxy!!

As previous scamming victims have reported, Ticket Galaxy is unethically luring you into buying tickets from it by posing as the real agent on the website of the real institution/venture/event for which you want to buy tickets. We paid over $100 more in ticket prices and fees. The theater for which we bought the tickets has posted a fraud alert for companies like Ticket Galaxy now!! However, our credit card company has refused to reimburse us as fraud victims so far.

Scam Artist

Same story as many other on this site. Thought I logged into the venue but had been re-directed and ended up paying double for my tickets. This site is a SCAM. Complain to the BBB ( which I did ), and the AG ( which I did ).

We bought 5 tickets to see Mary Poppins. When we received the tickets, the face value listed on the ticket was $63.18. But we were charged $518 for 5 tickets ($103.60 per ticket). We never got a confirming email either. Thank goodness we actually got the tickets through the mail and the tickets were actually valid.

This Ticket Galaxy website looks completely legit, and you don't realize you are getting completelely ripped off. If you read the fine print on their policies page, it basically says, we will completely overcharge you for tickets.

Warning....never, ever buy from this website. We didn't have good seats either! Sad that websites like this are allowed to exist.

I ordered tickets online , for 'Book of Mormon" for my mother to give as holiday gifts to her grandkids---I was charged a 'misc. fee' of $183. added onto 6 already over list priced tix. I was told the tix would be shipped Feb. 2015, for the show.

All of this was not great---but acceptable. However, in Niov. 2014, I then got an email telling me the tix were delivered and left by the door. No tickets. I called Ticket Galaxy who said they would get back to me. No one did. Still no tickets.

Spoke to Ticket Network , who was to issue the tickets--they said to contact Ticket Galaxy, Still no tickets. Told to contact Fedex who supposedly delivered the tickets. Still No tickets.

After being given the royal runaround by all 3 companies--I decided to call the Box Office in Jax to reissue the tickets. They told me that they didn't know who Ticket Galaxy was---and that it must be a reseller. Therefore they could not reissue the tickets,

.Have now filed a Claim with the credit card company. Lesson learned---call the Box Office Directly!! And Do Not use Ticket Galaxy or Ticket Network!! ( I'm still not sure about Fedex!)

Don't ever buy from Ticket Express or Ticket Galaxy!!!

They lure you into buying from them by posting as the real venue (for instance theater, event) for which you want to buy tickts. You may think that you buy the tickets from the original vendor of the event BUT, if you buy from Ticket Galaxy or Ticket Express, you MOST LIKELY ENTER TO A SCAM!!!! DON'T DO IT!

We got tricked by Ticket Galaxy to buy tickets for more than $100 of the original price, plus added fees.

Our credit card company (Capital One) has refused to reimburse us on fraudulent charges but we will keep trying based on valid Internet reviews concerning Ticket Galaxy or Express.

I purchased Memphis vs Bulls tickets in Aug. Had great seats. I received an email eticket verification of my seats. Totally pleased at the time.

Then, 2 months LATER, they email me telling me that those seats are NOT available and they would like to move me to another section. (The problem here is they moved me to the worst possible place, behind the goal).

I have demanded a refund, and am writing every where I can to expose their little scam they tried to pull off. If it weren't for my husband, I would not have thought a few sections make a big difference, but they do!

I have contacted credit card company to alert them of this fraudulent activity.

They did ask me to tell ya'll (I told them I would write reviews) that I did receive a refund. (haven't yet) But either way, I will get it from my credit card!

RIPPED OFF

Okay I am posting the same thing as everyone else. I thought I was on the venues site, paid double for the ticket Paid $50.00 undisclosed "Service fee" and $15.00 shipping to get tickets that could have been emailed to me. I received the "tickets" the day before the show and so it was to late to do anything about it. At the show (Teresa Caputo) She told everyone that there was this scam and I was so mad I miss everything she said for a good 15-20 mins. I was shocked that I was ripped off like this. I truly thought I was buying from the venue.I wish there was a warning on the venue site about this so i could have saved over $100.00 in over charges.

I signed onto the Cal Bears website intending to buy tickets from the venue for a soccer game my daughter wished to attend. Ticket Galaxy popped up on the screen of the Cal Bears website and I called to purchase the tickets. At the time, I believed I was purchasing tickets from the Cal Bears venue.

During the call with Ticket Galaxy, I was not informed they were a separate business entity from the Cal Bears, nor was I informed of the exorbitant $145.86 service fee that would be imposed on my order of 3 tickets at $143 each.

I immediately contacted Ticket Galaxy when I was emailed the invoice and saw the $145.86 service fee charge to dispute the charge. The person I spoke to insists that I was informed of the service fee since all their staff are highly trained. This assertion is false. In fact, Ticket Galaxy has repeatedly defrauded its customers.

There are pages and pages of complaints from Consumer Affairs, Ripoff Report, and Scam Guard--almost all of them with the same complaint:

consumers thought they were purchasing from venue but were redirected to Ticket Galaxy

consumers were not informed of the ridiculously high service charge

tickets proved invalid at the venue

cheaper tickets were sent by Ticket Galaxy instead of what was purchased

At least one of these complaints states very clearly that Discover indicated to one of their customers that they have fought Ticket Galaxy before on precisely this issue of the hidden service fee and Discover has won every time.

In light of the exorbitant hidden service fee and $7.50 for E-ticket delivery, I chose not to download the tickets offered by Ticket Galaxy. Instead, I purchased tickets through StubHub. After investigating allegations against Ticket Galaxy, I did not want to take the chance of the tickets I purchased through Ticket Galaxy being fraudulent. I informed Ticket Galaxy of this and they recommended I sell the tickets to someone else.

I am seeking a refund of $582.36 from Ticket Galaxy. If these charges are not permanently reversed, I will have to pursue my legal rights in this matter.

Today I went online to purchase tickets for Bob Seger and not realizing I was redirected to this site: Ticket Galaxy. Thought I was buying tickets from LiveNations.com link sent from local radio station. Needless to say it was Ticket Galaxy and when I checked out couldn't believe the price for handling service fee of $61. Then to find out when I went from email link and seen the price was $85 per ticket I couldn't understand???

I called customer service he said they were a third party and could be above ticket value. They sure were by $37 plus the service fee. Paid $111 more for 2 tickets than from ticketmaster or tickets.com. My husband and I couldn't figure it out until he came across this and seen there are several reports of fraud, service fees that are double and triple of a normal fee. I reported this dispute with my bank for fraud.

After reading all the reports we are not even sure that we will even get the tickets. Will the tickets be what we actually even purchased. I tried to cancel but of course all sales are final! By the sounds of all the reports beware don't purchase through ticket galaxy. You will pay way more than your venue is charging!!

I purchased 4 tickets for 3 Doors Down. Had no idea they tickets were only 1/2 the price they charged me + a 70.00 internet fee . If I stood outside the venue and charged that I would be arrested. Where is the DA now? SCAM dont buy from them. You have a better chance going there and buying at the box office.

I purchased a ticket to see Daughtry/The Goo Goo Dolls in Los Angeles on March 14th for $103 and was charged a $15 Delivery Fee and a $20.60 Service Fee. It was for Section C, a far back seat, because I was afraid I woud not be able to get a ticket any other time. I now see that the same ticket is available on Ticketmaster for $73!! Also, front section tickets at Ticketmaster are selling for $106!!!

What a RIP OFF TICKET GALAXY is!!! NEVER buy from them!!! They gave me a song and dance when I called to complain, and so did Excite, their service partner.

I placed an order for tickets to the Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus in Fairfax, VA on April 18, 2014. Three tickets were offered in Section 114, Row BB as the ""best available"" at the time of purchase. The charges were $186.00 ($62.00 per ticket) plus $42.78 service fee and $7.50 internet delivery fee for a total of $236.28.

Apparently between the order process being initiated and finalized, and without notice, the row designation was changed from BB to AA-Q. The tickets issued were Section 114, Row N, Seats 1, 2 & 3; each with a face value of $25.00. Unfortunately, I did not notice the discrepancy until I entered the event.

I bought 2 tickets online thinking I was buying it from the actually venue (Melody Tent, Hyannis, MA). I get a receipt for only one ticket for section D, row 21 but not seats. I called the number on the ticket and was told all sales were final and if I wanted to get a second ticket I would have to call the "Call Center". I call the Call Center and they referred me to the Venue. I call the Venue and they refer me to the Ticketing Agent for seating. I call the Ticketing Agent and they tell me there is no row 21!!! I call Ticket Galaxy back and after several people complaining to - I get a Customer Service Manager (Felix G) who argues with me until I tell him I am going to get an attorney. Well now he is fully refunding my ticket after I told him he sold me an illegal ticket since there was no row 21 that existed. This company is clearly shady! I buy tickets all the time from other companies and never had this problem. No only was the ticket from the venue $66.00 and they charged $96.00 - but then charged $28.00 miscellaneous fees and $15.00. Good thing is if you argue and threaten them they seem to respond - he refunded my ticket!!!!

Take a look at all the complaints against this company.

The owners of this company will be heading to jail, soon, I hope.

They made their portal appear as if they were fulfilling tickets for a Bethel Woods concert, Carlos Santa, they should the price as being $206 total for two tickets and they then they grabbed over $500 from my checking account. I called them immediately and they would not give a refund.

When I called the bank, (wells fargo) they refunded me and I have since learned that people that run ticket galaxy are true, hardcore internet scammers.

They lie in their advertising and will not just overcharge (2x to 3x the ticket value) but they will surcharge you as well. Their shopping cart will also not show the entire amount that you will.

These people are hard-core, lying thieves. Stay Away! They have been reported to many agencies and they go by various names “Ticket Network” for example.

True, down to the bone scum.
