Ticketmaster Reviews

I called Customer Service and was first hung up on by "Julio", I believe was his name, when I asked for a supervisor. Called back and spoke with a supervisor who didn't offer any better service. His name is Josue, ID # CYS844. He said there would be no refund and that it doesn't matter that Ticketmaster charged my card, I won't have tickets until after 11/1/14 and the show is not until December. They were disrespectful, acted like they didn't care about me as a customer. I need an apology and I need a refund. I am sick of companies ripping off their customers and then not caring one bit about them, because they stand behind a silly policy.

Ticketmaster Survey's are scams. They send you an email each day after you have made a purchase and harass you asking you to complete their survey. They tempted you in by saying that you could win a Visa gift card.

When you are completing the survey you are asked to do a "task". This task consists of what you think is pretending to purchase tickets for a fictious event. Little did I know I was actually purcahsing REAL tickets for an event at a rate I would NEVER in my wildest dreams pay for.

When I spoke to them they said they would review the survey but were not directly aware of it themselves.

How can a survey be directly connected to the actual live purchasing system is beside me. It is totally ludicrious and ridiculous. I have my banl looking into this as a fraudulant charge but they even said it my not work.

To Whom It May Concern,

I purchased 2 tickets to the March 8th Dallas Stars vs Minnesota Wild Hockey Game at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX. I purchased the tickets in January as an anniversary present for my wife, only to find out we couldn't go following week. I re-listed the tickets on February 26th at $250 each. I got an email notifying me that the tickets hadn't sold as of March 5th so I lowered the price to $100 per ticket. As of Friday the 7th, I hadn't sold the tickets yet so I gave them to a friend to use. They went to the game but were denied access because someone had already used the tickets. The only copy of the tickets that I printed were given to my friends. I called in and spoke to a CSR last week only to be told essentially Tough Luck after being placed on hold and transferred for over 45 minutes. I've attached a copy of my order confirmation when I originally purchased the tickets, a picture of each of the tickets, my banking records and a copy of the email stating that my tickets had been re-listed. I have also included an email (Reference Number 140318-002612) I sent in to the Customer Service Department on March 18th at 5:46 PM asking for help. I still have not received a reply.

After sending the info above to the email addresses below, I was contacted by someone from the Call Center in Farr/McAllen, TX. She "had no idea how it happened but my tickets had sold and they weren't sure why the system didn't recognize this and pay me." I worked with her for about a week and then was transferred over to another guy who was going to get it handled.

After roughly a month of going back and forth, I was finally paid my $200 and was promised a gift card to make up for my rough experience. Here we are (5/21/2014) and I still haven't received it from them.

This experience has been enough for me to NEVER use Ticketmaster again. I hope this report helps others who might have been Ripped Off by Ticketmaster the same way I was. If you can't get anywhere with their "Customer Service Department", send an email with your proof to the email address below and you will get help fairly quick.
