I PAID FOR 5 CARTONS OF CIGARS AND A POUND OF TOBACCO,AND I RECEIVED 6 CARTONS AND NO TOBACCO,CONTACTED THE COMPANY AND ALL THEY WERE GOING TO DO IS SEND ME THE TOBACCO AS LONG AS I WOULD SEND BACK THE CARTON AND THE ONLY COMPENSATION I WAS OFFERED WAS FREE SHIPPING ON MY NEXT ORDER,I AM STILL OUT THE POUND OF TOBACCO AND HAD TO SPEND MORE MONEY TO PURCHASE MORE,SO NOW I HAVE FOUND OTHER COMPANIES WITH LOWER COST,AND I AM REPORTING THEM TO THE BBB,DO NOT PURCHASE FROM TOBACCO GENERAL IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF,LOSE MONEY AND TIME
Ordered 74.00 worth of smoke products from Tobacco General ; tobaccogeneral.com.I only wished I had read reviews. Placed order on line on January 5,2015. Money was withdrawn from my Bank Account on January9. No goods arrived so I called and spoke with a curt , rude woman. She said my entire order wasn't sent as half my order was not available at this time. I asked why they didn't send the goods they had and credit my account for what was not available. Her answer was they sent me an email and I didn't answer. I have had problems with email address so I don't have anymore. Why would a company keep entire 74.00 and not send half money and credit me the rest? No scrupples. They did nothing for 18 days while I am waiting for cigarette tobacco. Talk about jonesing. Not to mention the arrogance and rudeness of customer service.
