I ordered a product marketed as a Christmas present on Dec. 11 and it did not arrive by Christmas. When I complained, they said their products can take up to three weeks to arrive. This informations was available on their shipping information, but if you want your products in a reasonable amount of time, find another retailer offering your product.

TOUCH OF MODERN is a rip off because they charge $15 more to Hawaii which cancels the savings on most items. When you add the usual $10 shipping it comes to $25 total. I found that USPS ships 3 - 5 days in flat rate boxes for $5.80. I asked why the 4-6 week delivery time? I found out that they wait as long as it is necessary for enough orders to go through before placing the order. In other words, although the item could come in a few days it will take 4 -6 weeks for the companies benefit.
Touch of Modern website is exactly like FAB.com and FAB is suing TOM for copyright infringment. Unlike TOM, FAB does not extra charge Hawaii or Alaska and actually has free shipping for orders over $49.
Their customer service leaves much to be desired. Here is an actual email I received.

1. We request an extra long delivery time of 3-4 weeks and sometimes 6 -12 weeks as well. The 3 -5 day shipping is from our warehouse to the customer.
2. We do not use USPS or FEDEX flat rate boxes. We are a bit of a volume business.
3. You are right, Hawaii should not bear the burden of our shipping costs.
At this point, I'm considering the matter closed. This argument is not productive and I think that you'll be better off going somewhere else.
Summary: TOM = TORO Touch of Rip Off
