I brought my SUV to Transmissions by Mark for a new transmission. For 6 months, he stalled with various excuses as to why the new transmission had not been installed. When I told him that I was going to report him, he ceased taking or returning calls. After 2 weeks of receiving no response, I learned that he had moved his business ... and moved my vehicle without my knowledge or permission. I went to his new location to reclaim my vehicle and saw that absoluetly nothing had been done for except to remove various components AND damage the bumper (probably while transporting it without my authorization). I had the vehicle towed to a different repair shop and was told that Mark had removed the starter and bell housing. When I contacted Mark about the missing parts, he said that he was unable to find them and would reimburse me for the cost of replacing those parts as well as the cost of the tow. It's no surprise, based on his prior actions, that he reneged on his promise.

Look on ripoff.com and bbb. Many others have had very negative experiences with Transmissions by Mark. I lost my car because of this business.
