Pulled in here to get fuel.Tried to use my debit card at this location.They swiped my credit card at the Fuel desk.The clerk said my card was denied .I went to my truck called the bank and the transaction went thru my account no Problem.Went back in and they swiped my card a total of 6 times.All transaction failed according to there computers.According to my bank all six transaction went thru.My bank cancelled all six transaction.This took place on 6/17/2015, Now I thought it was over with.Finally got cash out of atm ,got fuel and left.Next morning I tried to use my atm card agine.To my surprise The TA ran my card agine after I was long gone,six more time each time for $300.00 dollars.This automatically shut my card down.I called my bank and they removed these charges from card.So on with my day.That evening I got online to check my account.Guess what TA was up to there dirty little tricks agine.Yep they ran my card agine 6 more time $300 each.I called the manager down there and she tried to blow me off until I told here my bank was going to file fraud charged aginst them.That changed her tunes really fast.She took my phone number last 4 numbers on card and said she would check on it.This was at 9amct on 6/18/2015.I never herd a word back.I also called bank they removed charges yet agin.Now by 6pm ct same day the charges are back on my card.Now being the weekend now there to fix problem and they have left me out on the road with a load on and one more to do this weekend and I have no money for food or fuel.My bank told me they will be filling fraud aginst travel centers of America.
Anyone doing buiness with TA/Petro better watch those credit/Debit cards very close.Just another way big buiness trying to screw the little people. This will be the second report on TA/Petro in last 7 days.These guys dont care about anyone but making that buck.TA/Petro get your head out of your a*s,If not for consumers you wouldnt have a buiness at all
TA has really outdone themselves this time. Hiring a registeres child molester as the General Manager. As a travel Plaza that encourages families to stop along with all the drivers that come through daily, you would think they would shrink at hiring such a high risk person. I know I wouldn't want to take my children or grandchildren into such an establishment. And to think this person is also in a position of authority. Having access to the restrooms and showers. Makes me shudder. I hope TA has a crew of good attorneys available. Everyone knows a child molester will offend again, it's only a matter of time and place. I pray all families that stop there will leave the store unharmed.
