We started boarding out with Linda and it was a nightmare from day one, we helped her around the ranch with fixing spot lights, fences, fixed outbuildings, cut up a huge tree that had fallen due to the storm and even going as far as to remodel the basement apartment she had. We did all this out of our own pocket because she provided such a sob story about how none of the other boarders were helping out or paying board and she just couldn't do it on her own. We had an agreement with her that we could come out and pay board when we were available due to our hectic schedules however the first time we arranged with her to pay our board other than the date specified she freaked out; calling us names and advising us that she would sell our horse. After telling her we would be moving the horse, her trainer called my husband and threatened to shot him as well as the horse so we had to contact the police and get them involved. Never board with this lady if you value your life and do not want to get threatened.
