United Concordia is refusing to pay for a crown that is clearly needed. I have a large old broken down amalgam filling on a tooth and the tooth is cracked from the occlusion to the gum line and servere pain. It cannot be repaired with a filling. They are refusing to pay even though it is contractually supposed to be approved. If it isn't fixed it will have to be extracted. My husband retired from the military and was advised this was the better of the two dental plans offered. We don't live in a third world country where we just pull teeth when they need repair. So disappointed in this company. We have sent in several rebuttals. Husband has called and they tell him to say this on the description and it will be approved. After several it still hasn't been approved. Complete lies.
