I was contacted by Tyler Johnson from Urban Room urbanroom.com To take pictures for the website. As a model this sounded great bc I was In need of new images and these I would get for free. To make a long story short this person offered to be my manager and told me how my career would take off after merely dealing with him bc he was that influential. All of the thins he said sounded great and even possible to an extent, then he said that auditioning for a role in his production I would have to audition in lingerie.
Also that the sexual scenes in the project would require for me to be naked in front of the crew even in on camera the audience wouldn't see my private parts. He was extremely adamant about naked scenes, sexual content and even got a bit angry when I said wasn't comfortable being nude not even for the crew. I was Ok with implied nudity but obviously not being nude. And this was not ok won't him, he gave me an attiftude and told me he didn't "understand" how I could be ok with implied nudity but not being nude in front of the crew since they were all "professionals"
He said he would manage my career and that he'd never heard of an actress's career taking a turn for the worse afyet doing nudity ok tv. He also Said that the male character who would be doing the sex scenes would be in his 40's 50's but never mentioned who this actor would be. (I am guessing now he left that out to leave the door open to pull one of the 'the actor couldn't make it so I'm doing the scene instead' kinda thing)
I am writing this to save other girls from going through this, also ALWAYS look up the people you will be working with and get all the information possible before hand. And lingerie and nudity is NEVER a requirement for an audition, never mind full or partial nudity.
He has an attitude and is condescending, his way or no way and is extremely convincing and sounds very knowledgeable about the industry but obviously not very successful or he wouldn't be calling models himself. A professional and well establish Agent/Manager will set up and Interview before even working with you, never mind offering you success on the spot. This person needs to be stopped and should be found out already he can't be doing this to girls or ANYBODY.
