US Financial Resources Reviews

  • Feb 17, 2015

We received a phone call from usfinancialresources.com stating that we had been preapproved for a home improvement grant. My husband has been online searching for grants to help us with our home projects, so he thought this was a legit thing.

After asking what I thought were all the Right questions to be sure this wasn't some sort of scam, we agreed to thier 10 day trial for only $3.87...but was not informed that there would be a $59.99 charge on the 11th day.

We were also Not informed that there would be a second charge immediately on our account for $19.99, this came out as My Credit Harbor. No clue what that even is, because when you search for it nothing comes up except credit help sites.

When I try to go the support email he gave me, it was unable to locate. I tried calling to cancel, within thier stated hours of opporation, and got a voice mail.

I received the call on January 28th 2014 from a guy who said he was with United States financial resources he told me that I could qualify for a grant and that the grant is legit and I don't have to pay it back. he said I can use it for school or school supplies in returning back to school. at first I wasn't sure if I wanted to do it. seeing that I do have plans to go back to school he explained to me that it will be easier if I pay a one-time application fee and they help me with the grant. this one time fee was $3.87 and he said there was no other charges or payments for the future but today I went to purchase my children something to eat and my card was declined they had took $59.95 off my card. I'm very frustrated and hurt and we need our money back. Itisha, Houston

I recently applied for financial aid to attend ICDS College online, and I canceled the classes before they could start and I thougt I canceled my financial aid award. This company, US Financial resources, called me on my phone and told me my financial aid has been approved for $5,000, which was how much I was actually elgible for. The guy name was "Steve", he gave me some information about the service and he lied.

I just graduated from high school and I was registering for college soon, and had already filled out my FASFA. I didn' know this was a scam. He asked my for my bank information, so he could put the money in my account. I told him I wanted him to mail a check and he said he would. He told me there was a $3.87 fee for shipping and handling, so I gave him my card information. When we got off of he phone, about three minutes later I got a text from my bank saying $29.95 was taken out of my account along with the $3.87.

This so called "company" basically stole my money from my account. I had no idea that they were just a scam.

I had a California number call me. I answer it and this man named Paul Wilson said I approved for a personal state grant. There was a 3.65 postal charge. The grant would take 5-10 days for it to be mailed to my home address and he knew all of it. He said I needed to call 502-248-6132 confirmation code 372135. Then on the next day I can go to www.us financial resources.com use my email address as ID and my area code for the password. I did that and it did not work and I called the number it was no good. So now tomorrow I need to go to my bank and fix the ordeal they took $4.00 I did not have much in my account

I recieved a call from a man who said his name is John Miller and that I was approved for the business grant from the government and congratulated me . I asked if it was a scam and he assured me that it was not.

He then gave me information on how to sign in after 7pm the next evening to recieve the free 5.000 I was granted and I would never have to pay it back. I fell for the 3.87 one time fee.

I am completely lost.

I got a call from these people, claiming that I had been approved for a grant to help with my education, and that they needed a $3.78 payment from me to process my grant....

So, I gave them my card number, and they took not only the $3.78, buyt an additional $29.95 for something called IDRefugee, that I never agreed to. That was not the end of it though, because I was so excited about getting sdome grant money that I followed the instructions from the obviously Middle Eastern accented guy on the phone named ""Eric Dawson"", Yeah RIGHT, and went out and put $280.00 ojn a Green Dot Money Pak card, and gave them the number for it.

I REALLY wish that I had done some more research on these people first because now they have ripped me off for over $300.00, and I got NOTHING in return, except burned by this scam. Unfortunately, the Money Pak cards are untraceable, and I cannot get my money back now.

If these criminals call you, and claim that you have been approved for anything that involves money, DO NOT give them ANYTHING at all.

It is a complete scam, and THAT is why they insist on getting the Green Dot Money Pak card, because scam artist pieces of trash around the world have learned that it is an untraceable, fool proof way to steal money.

They are not even a real company at all, I mean they do have a website, but once you pay your $3.78, and get your login info, it will never work again, and you will not be able to even login to look for support....

Internet fraud businesses such as this do not want ANY possible means of being contacted once they have your hard earned cash, WATCH OUT!!
