I am out $1800, and no puppy. The ad was placed in Highland Park, IL. The "owner" was in PA. He said he placed ads all over to urgently find owners for is puppies, as he was relocating for a new job. His daughter, the actual owner, had just passed away in a car accident, in which he too was involved in, which injured his jaw, so he could not speak on the phone, only text and e-mail (how convenient,since he was also probably the voice of the uship worker). It started out the $500 to transport the puppy, then it turned into the puppy needed to be transported in a different crate due to the weather, which they would kindly rent for $2400! Fully refundable at delivery. I refused. There was so much back and forth. They were threatening me, saying the owner already put my name on all of the paperwork and so I was now responsible, and I would be turned over to the authorities for animal abuse, I would not get my money back, and the puppy would go to the shelter. The "owner" said he would help, he "gave" some of his money. I am crying as I write this, over my stupidity, and the evil in this world. I am a divorced, single mom, who works hard as a nurse, is taking care of a mother with cancer, and I was just trying to make my little girl have one wish come true, to have a puppy. And instead ... we now have no bill or food money. I am just sick to my stomach. And I pray that if my experience does anything, that maybe me writing about it will maybe save someone else the same fate! I am thankful I am a suspicious person. I recently lost my beloved cat and was looking for a new kitten to join my family. I am in Australia and had always fancied a Maine Coon. I searched the internet and came across an ad for a free Maine Coon kitten - I contacted the person and was advised they were in Adelaide (I am in Melbourne) and that the only cost would be $210 shipping cost. the time came for delivery and I received an email and phone call asking for money to be transferred via cash transfer at Western Union to account in Cameroon. Naturally, I did not do this and advised person on phone that I would be happy to pay COD at which they terminated the call. Not just happening in USA - happening in Australia too.

I found a T-Cup for free online and the website said to text a number on the page. After texting, I got a return text asking for my name, address and e-mail address, home and cell phone numbers, and location of the nearest airport. After providing the information, I got an e-mail from UShip Pets saying the owner of the dog paid a deposit of $80 and I was responsible for $300 for the flight and told me I had to get a pre-paid card called "Reload It" from a grocery store in my area. I went to the grocery store and they told me that the only method of payment they accept for the "Reload It" cash and not my debit card. I called UShip Pets to tell them I was not going to get the "Reload It" because cash had to be used so they referred me Western Union.
Since it is uncommon to me that delivery and airline companies would accept only prepaid cards or Western Union but do accept credit/debit cards, I keep telling UShip Pets I am only going to use my credit or debit cards. As of now, UShip Pets is continuing asking me by e-mail to use Western Union; making this to be harassing they are doing.
Searched through Hubbly classifieds for a pet dog. Saw ad for inexpensive Pomeranian toy dog. contacted listed owner who at first stated they were in Boca Raton FL. Then Sergey Page who now claimed he had just moved to Portland, Oregon. Stated he was selling several puppies because his wife had recently passed away and he could not longer care for them.
We made arrangement to purchase dog and he directed us to Uship Pets Transportation Sercvice of Portland Oregon. He would get the dog the them and they would handle payments for purchase and shipping and courier delivery.We sent via REloadit account the $500.00 purchase price. Shortly after this the shipper sent an email stating the US Aviation system require shipping insurance on pets based upon retail value. They wanted another $1510.00, via another REloadit card, for an insurance policy, which would be refunded to us in cash upon delivery of the dog.
Thats when we contacted the owner of the dog with our concerns over his choice of shipping company. we suggested shipping the dog via regular air freight. We have not received any contacts with the ""owner"" of the dog or the pet shipping company. Did an google earth search of the company address, and the address doesnt exist.
We are out only $500.00 instead of $2,000.00 over this scam. Avoid this shipping company and Mr. Page for any business.
This is nothing but a scam. They get your hopes up about a dog you really want and then they keep your money, you get no dog. It doesn't exist! I didn't fall for it. Instead I called back and have them a peice of my mind! They should be ashamed!

Same thing happened to me. Went by the name David Louic, using his wife's gmail account. Says his wife just died of a car accident and can't look after the puppies any longer. He refuses to speak to you over the phone. Then, when you give him your information, he- claiming to work for U Ship Transportation - calls and says the payment needs to be made through Western Union to Anthony Shirley at U Ship. It was a very sketchy situation that was masked by the excitement of receiving a puppy at a cheap price. The man who speaks to you is Indian how is bad with English. The emails I then received from "U Ship Transportation" was a hotmail.com email. They contained spelling mistakes and sketchy details. Overall, this whole thing is a huge scam. I lost $130 plus all the money I just spent on things for the puppy. I am ashamed people do this to others, it is heart breaking! Just please remember to do your research!!
Wanted to get a ragdoll kitten for my mom. He said he was in kansas which wasnt too far away so i was going to drive there. But he insisted that he ships it. I found a T-Cup for free online and the website said to text a number on the page. After texting, I got a return text asking for my name, address and e-mail address, home and cell phone numbers, and location of the nearest airport. After providing the information, I got an e-mail from UShip Pets saying the owner of the dog paid a deposit of $80 and I was responsible for $300 for the flight and told me I had to get a pre-paid card called "Reload It" from a grocery store in my area. I went to the grocery store and they told me that the only method of payment they accept for the "Reload It" cash and not my debit card. I called UShip Pets to tell them I was not going to get the "Reload It" because cash had to be used so they referred me Western Union.
Since it is uncommon to me that delivery and airline companies would accept only prepaid cards or Western Union but do accept credit/debit cards, I keep telling UShip Pets I am only going to use my credit or debit cards. As of now, UShip Pets is continuing asking me by e-mail to use Western Union; making this to be harassing they are doing.

Searched through Hubbly classifieds for a pet dog. Saw ad for inexpensive Pomeranian toy dog. contacted listed owner who at first stated they were in Boca Raton FL. Then Sergey Page who now claimed he had just moved to Portland, Oregon. Stated he was selling several puppies because his wife had recently passed away and he could not longer care for them.
We made arrangement to purchase dog and he directed us to Uship Pets Transportation Sercvice of Portland Oregon. He would get the dog the them and they would handle payments for purchase and shipping and courier delivery.We sent via REloadit account the $500.00 purchase price. Shortly after this the shipper sent an email stating the US Aviation system require shipping insurance on pets based upon retail value. They wanted another $1510.00, via another REloadit card, for an insurance policy, which would be refunded to us in cash upon delivery of the dog.
Thats when we contacted the owner of the dog with our concerns over his choice of shipping company. we suggested shipping the dog via regular air freight. We have not received any contacts with the ""owner"" of the dog or the pet shipping company. Did an google earth search of the company address, and the address doesnt exist.
We are out only $500.00 instead of $2,000.00 over this scam. Avoid this shipping company and Mr. Page for any business.

This is nothing but a scam. They get your hopes up about a dog you really want and then they keep your money, you get no dog. It doesn't exist! I didn't fall for it. Instead I called back and have them a peice of my mind! They should be ashamed!

The "owner" was telling me that he had papers and the pups had their shots and etc. He said he went to the "uship" company and set everything up already and now they were just waiting for my payment and the payment was through moneygram. Luckily i was supsicous by this and i went online and looked for the uship number. I called them and told them of what happened, the person on the other line said that it was a scam , because first off they don't have a place you can go to and set it up , because it is a online shipment. Same thing happened to me. Went by the name David Louic, using his wife's gmail account. Says his wife just died of a car accident and can't look after the puppies any longer. He refuses to speak to you over the phone. Then, when you give him your information, he- claiming to work for U Ship Transportation - calls and says the payment needs to be made through Western Union to Anthony Shirley at U Ship. It was a very sketchy situation that was masked by the excitement of receiving a puppy at a cheap price. The man who speaks to you is Indian how is bad with English. The emails I then received from "U Ship Transportation" was a hotmail.com email. They contained spelling mistakes and sketchy details. Overall, this whole thing is a huge scam. I lost $130 plus all the money I just spent on things for the puppy. I am ashamed people do this to others, it is heart breaking! Just please remember to do your research!!
