Vantage Auto Movers is the same company as Reliable Vehicle Transportation. They had to change their name because of their awful reputation. (Same dba on BBB) The good reviews are FAKE. Most were done on same day.

They have F rating and 25 COMPLAINTS with the Better Business Bureau! Copy and paste the link: http://www.bbb.org/south-east-florida/business-reviews/automobile-transport-referrals-quotes/reliable-vehicle-transpostation-in-boca-raton-fl-90108999

Same incompetent owners, same company. Here are reviews I wish I would have read before they took my deposit and NEVER delivered service. They will actually offer to refund you if you remove a negative review. Once you take down, you NEVER hear from them again. They will even go as far as to document you "refusing their drivers" when in reality they won't answer your calls.

Here are the reviews I find online AFTER hiring Vantage Auto Movers:

Owners of the company listed on BBB’s website is Sal Contarino and Adam Lahr. So I decide to google their names. What I found was shocking. This is not the first scam that they have run.

One of Reliable Vehicle Transport Owners Sal Contarino has run several different cons. You can find them by searching their names. Including an investigation from the Florida Attorney General" The other Adam Lahr has been arrest for robbery.

I have already filed a complaint with the Florida Attorney General. They have received more than one.. if you have been taken advantage of, do the same.

I hired vantage auto movers to move my car from nj to ca. They promissed to get it moved before xmas. they called and said the car company is going to pickup the car on Dec 22, well i had someone waiting. That day came and went. I called every day and no answer. They wouldnt call me back. So i asked my friend to call and they answered and they had no answers as to when my car was going to get picked up. I waited another week and no phone calls, I called them and they wouldnt pickup. I finally hired someone else and got the car shipped. I asked vantage to give me a refund and they said I signed a contract and good luck getting your money back. I filed with my bank and my bank said they cant give me a refund.

I researched on the bbb site and vantage is a f raiting and scamed alot of people and alot of people filed complaints.

I researched with yelp and alot of people filed complaint

WHY IS THIS COMPANY STILL IN BUSINESS.

THEY ARE COMMITTING FRAUD!

Why doesnt my bank see this?

They didnt show up for week or more , when i call to cancel , they didn't answers my calls , my email , or my text. When i try to get my deposit back , no one to speak to. They rip me off , kept my deposit , and didn't let me cancel a job they couldn't preform, low class , i dont recommend them to my worst enemy.

I entered into an agreement and retained Vantage Auto Movers as a “Broker” for the purpose of providing State-to-State transportation service for my vehicle (Order Number 33041-MI). As pursuant their policy, the contract was signed 14 April 2015 and service was scheduled for 27 Apr 2015-the vehicle was scheduled fourteen (14) days from the date of me placing my order. My sale’s representative was Sam Kooby (he was one existing when the problems began to surface). When the transportation date arrived, the “Broker” failed to schedule or provide any such service for which they were retained.

Days went by without any semblance of professionalism or a working knowledge of the auto transportation industry. I contacted the “Broker” (Now, by the name of John) two to three times daily in hopes of the company performing as their website and sale’s agent so charmingly advertised. Unfortunately, after continuously proliferating unprofessional excuse after excuse, I was forced to search for an alternative solution. This organization, Vantage Auto Movers, is enthusiastically masquerading as a “Broker” agency for the Auto Transportation industry while actually serving as a resourceful independent swindling organization. I paid and they received their “Broker” fee for the transportation service. Vantage Auto Movers failed to provide not only the desired service as it was their responsibility to do; they failed to demonstrate the basics in customer care and service after the sale. I spoke with someone claiming to be a supervisor (Trevor) and he stated that my order was placed in a "Hold" status due to the company not being able to contact me. Totally incorrect, no one from the company made any attempt to contact me especially since I was calling their main line and spoke to multiple individuals, mostly after being disconnected or being on hold for up to 30 minutes.

Next, it appears the employees of Vantage Auto Movers have a thought out script of what to say when the customers call and inquire about the service they have yet to receive. Each time I contacted Vantage Auto Movers, I spoke to a different person in a (supposedly) different department (Owner-Adam, Supervisors Trevor and John, Countless Transportation personnel who refused to give their name when requested). Each time, and word-for-word, I received their scripted answer (more than likely based on the more frequent complaints). After checking the BBB and “Transport Reviews” website, I noticed similar, if not the same complaints (again, with the scripted answers). They assured me that someone has phoned me to schedule service (without providing any dates or times of the apparent phone calls). Other possible “scripted” replies to be aware of: We called and someone cancelled, put the order on hold or could not reach you; you refused service; we are only obligated to take your order, we found you a transport the day you filed a complaint or requested a refund.

Lastly, the company charges a “Broker” fee but did (does) not perform as a “Broker” in any fashion. Their policy is “No refund given after 48 hours of contracting for service”. Thus, if Vantage Auto Movers cannot scheduled any (pickup) service for up to two weeks then there will not be a need to request a refund within the “clause” time period: they will never return any money because of their “clause” in the contract (this is the base of their “Scam”). Their hope is the customer will either cancel the order or just stop calling (evident by their belligerent behavior). As a Retired Veteran and Business Owner, I can professional say that this company violates and annihilates the entrusted fabric of integrity, reliability and truthfulness.

After receiving a quote and date for the pickup and paying a $300 "Broker Fee" for transporting two vehicles. I was unable to get any information from the company for confirmation of the transport.. I began this process in early February of 2015, with a pickup date of March 3, 2015. All I got was misinformation and lies. When the pickup date arrived they were a no show and the phone numbers for this company all had a message "mailbox full" This whole thing was a SCAM. I sent a certified letter requesting a refund of the $300.00 as they did not fullfill any part of the contract. The letter was signed for by the company but I have received absolutely no response. Big surprise!!

Vantage Auto Moving company is a false flag enterprise who the Florida Better business bureau give an "F" to for a grade. They are not a moving company as they portray in their web site but a group of telemarketers who take advantage a consumers by offering a low shipping bid to an unsuspecting consumer, which no "legitimate" trucker would take, after relieving said dolt of a retainer fee, they list your requirement on a web page. After you get tired of ringing them, they offer to remove you from the listing but you will get no money back. You can easily reach their new bookings number but the existing orders number goes to voicemail and you never receive a call back. If you go to the address provided on Google Earth, you will be directed to a strip mall in Florida which I no doubt houses a PO Box. There are no trucks or even an office at that location despite what is shown on their web site. Finally, Todd, if that's really your name, please quit; I think you can do better than this to make money. If you own this enterprise, let me remind you there is a special place for people like you...not caring if you provide a service is the same as taking money off people with no intentions of providing service. It is theft by another name.

Same experience as the other complaints - they take your deposit and then you can't get in touch with them. They don't return calls, respond to VM or email.

One of the owners Sal is very rude and unapologetic for the service.

I guess they think its a joke to hold peoples money without sevice. Trust me - pay the extra for a legit trasport company or you'll be waiting for your car for a long time.

On January 6 2015 I Kaundah Nang booked an order to transport my car having talked on phone with Vantage Auto Movers agent based on an agreement that they would find me a shipper within 48 hour. The agent told me to be on standby as they look for a driver, and that I should be available during pick. I waited for almost 40hour then without any phone calls from Vantage movers to give me any updates concerning shipping my car.

I tried calling Vantage mover severally to confirm if they were able to ship my car or not and nobody responded to my phone calls that’s when I decide to dispute the transaction through my bank (Bank of America) and got my money back pending investigation. I strongly believe Vantage Movers wanted 48hour to elaps that way they would retain the $150 whether they shipped my car or not and that’s the reason why my phone calls went unanswered nor returned. Since then, none of the vantage movers agent has ever contacted me and my car was never shipped. To me, this firm (Vantage Movers ) is in a scram business.

Three months later my Bank reversed the transaction based on the agreement documentation Vantage movers provide and charged my account $150.

I still dispute this transaction and want my $150 back since Vantage Movers rendered me no service even though I made several attempts by phone to reach them within the 48 hour window.

I have never heard from Vantage movers until recently when I got the paperwork from my bank.

This company. Took our money, promised a pickup, and sold us on the idea that we were priced at a point for the vehicle to be picked up quicklyl. They never mentioned a separate deposit which was not apart of the transport fee. There was very little communication. Once they had deposit, we never got updates or return calls. We were promised pickup by January 18th barring any forces of nature to prevent it, by January 25th the car had still not been picked up. We called for an additional three days to speak with Danny who was always "out of the office" the originator of the "contract" who never got back to us. Finally fed up, we contacted the main number to cancel the "contract" only to be ridiculed for not reading the entire contract. The rep said, and I quote "its not my fault you can't read (Adam)". So we were swindled out of $200 bucks and our vehicle has not been touched. I intend on taking this company to civil court. It is now a matter of prinipal. If anyone else is interested in taking this further with me, please respond below.

Hired the unreliable "Reliable" Vehicle Tarnsport aka "Vantage Auto movers" in good faith on Dec 22 2014 and paid 200 upfront (quote was 900$) , not being told that that was their brokerage fee, which I would have no problem to pay if they would had actually done something other then bsing me.

Once I paid the 200 Dollars NO RESPONSE, calls, update whats how ever.

I had to constantly call them to be assure that the car would be picked up within the same day or the next day after my call....of course that never happened and went on and on until January 12th 2015.

At that point I had enough of this and hired a 5 star rated brokerage who told me, among other brokerages I called, that they simply underquoted and therefore it was unlikely to get picked up. They managed within a day to get me a transport. The new brokerage charged also 200 Dollars, but only AFTER the car was picked up. And 1000 Dollars for the actuall transport company.

It gets worse. After filling a complaint with the better buisness bureau they flat out lied several times in their response, claiming they did called me and ....here comes the best: That I refused a driver that had. Absolute rediculous.

My advise, stay away from this company. Clearly unethical business behaviour.

It is my believe that they on purpose gave me a to low quote in order to assure my business and cash in with the Brokerage fee.

In general stay away from any company that asks for money before the car is even picked up.
