This is a scam

This is a phony company. They are very successful scam artists who take your money and then give you no service in return. The reason they aren't in jail is because it is not technically illegal for people to VOLUNTARILY give you their money. More specifically, in this case you, the consumer, willingly hands over your credit card information and then they turn you down when you have a request by telling you that your vehicle issue isn't covered, etc.... Technically, without a proscribed outline of what is and is not covered in their phony warranty, you have nothing really to stand on. In the meantime, the world is full of greedy, wicked souls who justify their wicked deeds by convincing themselves that it's your fault for falling for the scam. Those of us who are free in our hearts and who know God are the true rich. There is nothing to be gained from being a robber and a thief. Avoid this company at all cost!

SCAM - SCAM - SCAM

Keep getting those GREEN rip-off letters from these scam artists ever so often. Our 5-year old car has very few miles on it and there will not be any big bills due to pay in the next several years. Why don't these people get put out of business by the Texas legal system or by the Federal legal system. These people get money from the SUCKERS - probably the ELDERLY - who don't know their A _ _ _ S from their elbows. If the fools who get these letters and respond to this RIPOFF - then they deserve spending money that is not necessary. Wish there was someone or something that could get rid of an ENTITY LIKE this.

SCAM ?

First of all, you don't give the elderly enough credit. My mom is old but sharper than most millennials.

Second, if you don't want the coverage, don't buy it! Not liking it is far different from a scam, which is when someone gets you to pay money for little or nothing in return. The warranty is designed to help people with older cars who probably can't afford a new one!

High pressure sales

you don't have a minus 5 star !! Got a call from them last year, trying to sell me extended used car insurance. (I got a letter in the mail again today) I wasn't real busy when they called so I let him ramble on. I wrote down all of his prices for all the different car coverages as he talked, wanted a large down payment to start before even seeing a contract and then monthly payments for two years. It would have been over $6,000. ! Ten minutes later it was $4500, another ten minutes and his so called manager got on and got it to $3800!! what a deal, but that I had to get it right NOW!! After a hour and fourtyfive minutes I had enough and just hung up! sure was fun wasting their time, and they thought they had a sucker for their high priced extended car warranties. I also waste other scamers like Microsoft fakes, the IRS ones, ect. Be careful, be very careful!!

So deceptive, aggressive, authoritative and hard sell! Stay away.

I received a green letter from Vehicle service dept but no name of company. They claim that I had till dec 20, 2014 to respond to insure coverage on my practically new vehicle. They claim to be the broker for Lexus and only they could offer coverage and they represent Lexus administrator. It seemed legit till I spent 20 min on phone with the rep and the math didn't add up and the terms were so confusing. I wanted to discuss w my husband and they insisted the policy couldn't be guaranteed and I would be considered declining offer. They were so authoritative and aggressive. The terms were a fortune and they told me how much a service call would be to repair something on my car and they would be saving me a lot of money. I kept reviewing their numbers and they didn't add up. So they extended their terms and lowered their rate. My head was spinning. They insisted I give them a down payment and I had 30 days to activate. I refused to give them my credit card till I talked to my husband and then they wanted to me to talk to their supervisor. they were deceptive and doing such a hard sell. I would never buy anything from these dishonest people. Now that I googled their address this site confirms my suspicions. I am calling my dealer to discuss w them

very suspicious

They put a lot of high pressure to decide right then and there. Kept reducing the price for coverage 3 times. Knew something wasn't right in my gut.

These guys almost got me, thanks to the internet I refused.

If I could I would give "0" stars. Called them up earlier today after getting the green piece of cardstock in the mail everyone else has stated about, and they tried telling me my warranty service was up and how I had to buy a new one from them. Also, when talking over the plans and I kept telling the guy named "Lucas" I couldn't afford any of the plans, and somehow each of the plans kept significantly becoming lower. After about an hour something told me to look them up, so I put the guy on hold, and googled the company. Scam city. BEWARE. He also left me a voicemail after I hung up on them saying, "That was very rude, i'm trying to help you out. Call me back at (whatever the number was he left). Now I felt even more confused afterwards because during the conversation he kept strong arming me to take one of the plans then and there and I couldn't call back to enroll, I had to do it then, yet on my voicemail he wanted me to call him back. Such con artist.

This company has a very serious, official looking mailing on green colored paper with a US/state seal like emblem at the top of the mailing next to their address which says "IMMEDIATE RESPONSE REQUESTED" and "MUST RESPOND BY...." to try and appear as though it's some kind of goverment mailing.

This is deplorable. My elderly mother was very concerned by this mailing.

Vehicle Services Deoartment

A pink letter warning that my car warranty is about to expire! Doesn't say which car, my 25 year old beater grocery-getter, or one of my 30 and 35 year old sports cars.

It might be nice to have a 100,000 mile warranty on my 200,000+ mile cars, but an obvious scam.

Scam

May be a "real" company but they are still a rip-off scam group of people who can't get real jobs. Not particularly bright either. If you have the time and want to have some fun; keep them on the line as long as you can and waste their time. They're so money hungry that they're easy pickings for anyone with an IQ over 100. Just have some fun wasting their time.

They're out of Plano, Texas. Really, does anyone really live in Plano? When did they get phone service there? I thought the Indians overran them 100 years ago and scalped everyone.

I got a green offical looking letter - Beware of this letter

I did some checking and according to my research the address that they give on the letter is an empty building in Plano Tx that the owners are trying rent space out in at this time. The representative that I spoke to was giving me the old you need to do signup for this today routine. This always makes me suspect a scam. After convincing him I was not going to make a decision today, he reluctantly gave me his call back number that was different from the number on the green letter. I did a reverse phone number search and found that the number he had given me came from Garland Tx. and was a home phone number. I am not sure if this is a scam or not, however there are too many indicators that something is not right with this company.

Isn't the above comments to make you not do it?

I wouldn't even think about using these clowns. If the above comments aren't enough to persuade you not to use them, then you deserve to be ripped off. These guys are scam artists on the same level as Hillary, Bill and Boorock.

When you get it - shred it!!

It looks official. To the unwary, the statements could make you think this is important to respond to. It is garbage. Shred it. Don't waste your time re-reading it.

Probably a scam

Got another of their mailers today. I know it's a scam like all the others that try to peddle their crap.

Plano, Texas...are you kidding me? Nobody lives in Plano, Texas! Isn't Plano, Texas the East India of the United States? Just a bunch of gay guys making an illegal living ripping people off.

If it's legit why don't they have your car make and model on letter?

This is the 2nd letter I've received this month (May, 2017). One was green, this one is pink. For one thing I've got a 14 year old car that I inherited. It's quite laughable that if they have your name and address why don't they know what car they want to renew the warranty for? One time somebody called me and I played around with her. She asked me what kind of car I have and I answered "a 1926 Stutz Bearcat". The idiot woman laughed and hung up.

There may be no law against " asking for money", but there should be a law against fraud. Write to the attorney general of your state, or anyone who might listen. These folks need to see what the inside of a prison cell looks like.

Scam

This company sent my elderly mother, who never even had a drivers license let alone a car, one of their pink letters. Obvious scam. Glad she was smart enough not to call them.

scam

I also just got a letter like the one described for my deceased (2yrs ago) mother. I am executor and the mail is being sent here. I can sure see how elderly can get duped into this. When I took over her finances, she had full coverage on a 15 year old car, towing, roadside assistance, rental car, etc and she never went farther than the grocery or doctor--that was her insurance agent. So she was gullible. Guessing she would have panicked and responded to this letter-in fact I did a double take when I saw the official "vehicle notification department" return address, then saw it was from Texas.

So I thought they waste my time, I waste theirs, I called and told them to remove her from their scam database, she was deceased and was registered with the deceased do not mail (thedma.org-deceased listings are free) and reputable companies abide by this. Well, Danielle blew and said she was going to terminate this call. I hope they record their calls as they claim...

I have gotten similar letters for my 25 yr old car with 200+ miles and laugh, but these scams that target elderly are rampant and scary.

SCAM

This company also sent my mother one of their pink letters saying, ".........Our records indicate that you have not contacted us to have your vehicle service contract uploaded.................." Interesting that it came to my house as she never lived here, I was just her 'bill payer'. She lived in a convalescent home for years until she DIED!!!! Obvious scam. Assholes!!

Vehicle Services Department

I received a pinkish/mauve colored "letter" from these folks. First off, I do not own a car so how they even sent me this letter is beyond me except that they get your name and address from the internet! Seeing this colored paper is a tip off that it's a scam, what legitimate company sends something on colored paper with no letterhead? The letter stated in part: "by neglecting to replace your coverage..." - if I had a car I would be covered under either Allstate or Statefarm so why would I want to replace my coverage from a no name "company" in this letter. Just be very aware of these scams. What a shame.

BEWARE OF VEHICLE SERVICE DEPT. PLANO, TX.

Just spoke with a rep. for this company. After getting information on the coverage I decided against it. She immediately get defensive, unnecessarily aggressive and very rude. She started with the high pressure tactics, refused to to listen, even though I was being nice in thanking her for the information. She continued to question why I didn't want it right now. Her belligerent attitude got more aggressively rude and I thanked her for her time and info. I had to hang up on her because she was really nasty.

Why would they think that the unprofessional tactics they used would make someone buy their service? Unbelievable, my conclusion a TOTAL SCAM! THEY DESERVE NO STARS! TOTAL RIP OFF!

Vechicle Services Department

Vehicle Services Department is a scam. I received a pink letter in the mail and when I called, they kept insisting that my warranty on my car was up and offered me a payment plan which was too high. They kept going down on the prices, etc. I was asked if anyone in my home was over the age of 50 because I could get a senior citizen discount. I knew something wasn't right.

Most Unprofessional & Rude Scam

This company has the most unprofessional people working there. Received one of those pink letters this time (prior letters were green). I called them for the third time trying to tell them I no longer own this vehicle. Today really got to me. I talked to Josh and I couldn't even finish my sentence and said your removed and hung up on me. I called back and got him again and he was the rudest person ever. He said "I told you I took you off the list, do you have ears" What an ass___e! Can't wait until I get another letter as you know they can't be bothered to remove you from the list.

Rude and Unprofessional

Received a pink mailer, designed to look like an official notice from the dealer. Called and immediately requested to be removed from their mailing list. I get the 1st J, Jeremy. He jumps into a sales pitch about "don't you care about your car..." I continue to stress that I am not looking to purchase anything from them I would simply like to be removed from the mailing list. He should tell me what information he needs. The guy tried to bully me and refused to listen saying he's doing his job as sales guy and helping me. So I helped him and hung up. Called back, both times blocking my number as I'm sure the pests will start that harassment too. That's when I get the 2nd J, Josh. I guess they all have "J" names. I explain very quickly what just happened and asked what he needed to remove me. I gave him the reference number and was actually impressed that he listened. I actually wanted to let him know that I appreciate him listening and even put in a good work with his supervisor. As I would do with a real company. He hung up so fast he didn't even say goodbye. He said you want to be removed you're removed. What ignorant losers. Don't fall for these annoying scammers.

Scam

Received white letter. Absolutely no information on my vehicle at all, not even the make/model. Said my warranty coverage was up......lol. I don’t have a warranty on any vehicle I drive. One is owned by my employer and the other is too old for even the manufacturing warranty. These folks are just fishing, trying to get someone to call the 800 phone number, so they can scam someone. Shred the letter if you get it, that is what I am doing.

  • Apr 6, 2018

This is a laughable scam. Even though i am 80 years old they think that they can suck me in and sell me some sort of service about my 1974 vw which i maintain myself. It is hard to believe that these nummies can convince someone to buy their scam. But it is true, the elderly are more trusting and easily intimidated by this official-looking letter.

  • Apr 4, 2018

Here's your sign!!

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to know they are not legit! Why would anyone buy into this?

  • Aug 25, 2016

Just throw the letter away!

Obvious SCAM! They are nothing but dirtballs, trying to steal your hard earned money! I will bet any amount of money, if you are silly enough to buy a warranty from them, you will never see a penny from the on a claim!

These scumbags are the worst that this world has to offer!

STAY AWAY PERIOD!!!!!
