Dan Marinberg is the Vice President and General Counsel of Vertical Bridge. Immediately prior to joining Vertical Bridge, Dan was a real estate partner in the Miami office of the top international law firm Greenberg Traurig. During his 10 years at Greenberg, he handled virtually all aspects of sophisticated real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions of commercial real estate, financings, leasing, development, and joint venture structuring for individual properties and multi-asset portfolios. He also assisted clients with international issues arising from these transactions. Dan received his Juris Doctorate from Boston University School of Law, and his Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.

Daniel was the subject of a law suit and a report to the Florida Bar about his actions falsifying escrow documentation and having a member of his staff at Greenberg Traurig sign papers showing that they were in receipt of escrow funds when they were not.
The result was that his brother and sister were able to purchase a property at the top of ths list above over homeowners and property investors because they were the ones who filed the escrow deposit first. In fact the escrow deposit was not filed for many more days and because they fraudulently issued the escrow deposit receipt the other buyers did not have a chance.
The Florida Bar said that they were disgusted at his actions and were considering discliplinary action and citations the last I had heard.
