Vinted has the worst customer service.

They took my items down claiming them as counterfeit even though they are authentic and I have the original receipt.

They kept accusing me of selling counterfeit items and even gave me absurd reasonings behind it, claiming that they are authentic experts.

They even threatened to put me in jail and fine me thousands of dollars. I dared them to because I know my items are not counterfeit. They kept harassing me and telling me I sell counterfeit items and I will be blocked.

I finally showed them my original receipt.

Instead of apologizing and admitting that Vinted lacks authenticity experts, they permanently blocked my account.

These customer service people are too arrogant and incompetent in what they do.

There are better selling apps out there. Vinted is one of the worst and is not worth the time!!!

I have been selling used clothing on Vinted & this morning when I got on the site it said Your account is blocked. I had about $80. in my account I hadnt transfered to my bank account yet & 40. more in items shipped that hadnt been credited to my account yet. Instead of making me aware that I was about to get blocked & banned from my account, or transfering my money to my bank account before blocking me, they stole all my money!

Ordered a jacket online from another girl on vinted. Policy states if you do not have the product within 7-10 days that you "are covered!" (will be refunded). I waited past the 7-10 business days before contacting customer support about a refund (i work in customer service and understand that sometimes usps has delays, so I gave it an extra couple of days). They suggested that we (buyer and seller) file a claim with the USPS. we both filed a claim, to no avail. Waited another week and contacted support again to advise that nothing came of the claim and the package was lost in transit (per Usps) and not expected to arrive. Was then told multiple times to file more claims, etc. 20 emails later I screenshot their policy and attached that as well as the tracking info, a stamped letter from the post office on all claims that stated it was lost in transit, and demanded a refund. They then refused to give one, I asked for a manager multiple times and wasnt given one, then they just stopped replying to the emails until finally they told me that it was the sellers responsibility to provide me with a refund -- keep in mind, the seller doesnt receive any money until after I accept the package. vinted keeps the money until I accept a package that at this point I wasnt going to receive. Then they said it was my fault because the label wasnt insured (although their policy states that all labels are insured, and I was the buyer, not the shipper, I had nothing to do with the label they provided the seller!) after 10 more emails and a bad review on the Google play store app site, they still did nothing. I sent yet another email threatening to involve my attorney, they then quoted more requirements I needed to provide in order to receive a refund. (keep in mind this is all against their policy that they posted) I told them to never contact me again as I would be disputing the charge with my bank, which took ANOTHER 2 weeks, in which I obviously got my money back, and then vinted another week afterwards finally decided to email me advising that they would process a partial refund (which was not even a fraction of the price I paid), but added that I was "being unfair" because "the seller lost her merchandise too" -- who pays for products that they never receive?? Total Scam and will never recommend to anyone again. And the customer service is a total joke, the policies are clearly meaningless, and I'm quite shocked that theyre still in business at this point. No one should ever have to go through something like that, let alone wait nearly 2 months to get a refund for products never received, such a joke of a company. Buyer beware.

Do not join Vinted!

If you have conservative or strong opinions, Vinted is not for you. It is against the forum guidelines to harrass someone which Vinted sees as any and all unpopular opinions. You will be blocked for simply stating that opinion. Be aware that you will not be welcomed by the people on this app/website if you do not share the same opinion as them. The support team, mods, and ambassadors will not take your side and help you. Think twice before signing up...Vinted is NOT just about selling, buying, and swapping.

Used a on-line consignment shop called Poshmark.com before Christmas to purchase a few gifts cheaper than buying them in a store. Poshmarks rules are that if You do not complain within 3 days of receiving the package You are out of luck to ship the product back to the seller and be credited after they ask for pictures (8) to prove it. 2 items were Coach items, a small purse and an umbrella about $120 total. I have yet to get to a Coach store in My town for authenticity so it's too late for that.

I was sick during the time I received the 2 items and never made it to the Coach store in town within the 3 day limit. Poshmarks policy is that the sellers are NOT permitted to sell unauthentic anything (purses, jewelry, etc) and I do not think the both items are authentic but its too late to complain because the 3 days were up.

In January I purchased 3 more things. One was a KVZ Zebra purse ($15 + S&H) which was supposed to come in black in white. It came in black and yellow. I sent in pictures immediately on the day I received it, 4 total. Then they email Me and tell Me to take more pictures in better lighting so go outside. I did. I took them on My white wicker patio set. It was obvious it was black and yellowed. They told Me they cant give Me My money back because they dont think its a "Not as pictured" item that the seller posted on-line.

They said they would give Me the amount paid in Poshmark credits and for Me to basically "Eat" the S&H amount I paid. I didnt want to purchase anything else, but had no choice. I therefore purchased 3 VS Dogs for a collection that this seller said they were in perfect condition. They arrived with a sharpie pen across the tag of the dog, called the tush tag. I took pictures immediately and sent them to Poshmark. The seller kept bugging Me to approve the sale so She could get Her money. Finally Poshmark sent Her an email that they are being returned because of damage.

She blamed Me that I damaged them. Poshmark emails You a return S&H label to send them back so if You are unfortunate not to have a printer You are out of luck again. I finally did receive that $20 refund back after Poshmark tells You if will be in Your bank account unless Your bank doesnt post it until the next billing cycle. Always excuses.

The girl who sold them to Me bashed My name in Her profile with a "Seller Beware" and said I am a liar and not to sell to Me. I reported this to Poshmark. They sent Her an email explaining that VS Dogs are against policy rules to sell (They have over 400 VS Dogs still on the website being sold). The girl then sent me a message saying Her Dad was a Lawyer and I would be hearing from an Attorney because She kept My name and address. So now I am threatened.

The site is supposed to be a Womans clothing and accessories store. It now sells Mens used clothing, Mens used underwear, Mens used sneakers, Childrens used clothing and shoes, and babies used clothing and toys. They sell books, cell phones, curling irons, blow dryers, Perfume, lotions and nail polishes (also against policy but over 200 sellers are still on there selling), car stereos, wall pictures, sheets, You name it they sell it. The worst item was Always Maxi-pads unopened. My mouth dropped when I saw a seller post this.

They continue to sell used bras, used swim suits, used make-up and those are a big no-no according to their policy, but sellers are getting away with it.

Now, here is the Most upsetting thing that Poshmark does nothing about. There is a seller on their site named: pashapassions

This seller is selling "Real Fur Coats, Vests, and Hats. She has $183,972.00 worth of Rabbit, Mink, Saga Fox, Raccoon, Lambskin, Persian Lamb, Sheepskin, Tibet Sheep. I belong to Peta. This should not be on a Womans Clothing and Accessories website in My opinion. There are actual sellers, approx one out of every ten, who do follow the rules. This seller said 4 of Her fur coats were actual Host Picks as well which means the Company picks out something from what You're selling for others to purchase.

She has sold to 3 people so far and it looks like She posted all of these Fur Coats back in May of last year. This is cruelty to animals and I am Appalled!!! Obviously with everything else they are selling now that I listed above, no employee is doing their jobs to help prevent scammers, and people who are selling things and getting away with it that are not allowed on the site, now including dead animals!

I realize this is a very big money making company, therefore, now that they have so many sellers, they are not selling what they claim to sell: Womens fashions and accessories. I would think a $6,000.00 Fur Coat and over $183,000.00 worth of poor dead animals being sold on there would stop. There have been a few others selling Fur Coats, but maybe a handful, not 165 different real Fur Coats, vests, and hats.

So besides being treated with no respect from their representatives to the poor people like Myself when they told Me they would not re-imburse Me My $4.95 S&H, they are raking in 20% of what is being sold for each item listed. This Company needs to be under investigation and closed down.

I don't know if this report will help, but the American people should be forewarned about this out-of-control Company with scammers, bad Customer Service Associates, and people "Allowed" To sell dead animals.....

On 12-30-14 last year, I ordered an item from Vinted.com in the amount of $21.99. It was deducted the next day from My bank account on 12-31-14. I did not receive the item. I emailed several times to their Customer Service Dept and they finally sent Me an email saying that it is true, the unreliable seller of theirs didnt ship it. They told Me on 1-15-15 in an email that they refunded the $21.99 on 1-12-15 @ 7:43pm to the Credit Card I used to charge the item. I quickly wrote them another email saying that Card was closed on 1-6-15 and can they send Me a check in the amount of $21.99? They insisted I got the money. How could I have gotten the money if the account was closed on 1-6-15 and they refunded My money on 1-12-15? My Banker told Me He saw the refund had come in but the bank refused and rejected the refund because the Credit Card was closed out. The money went back to Vinted. There has been "40" emails back and forth to these unknowledgeable Customer Service Girls who give Me story after story. Once one out of the three said: "I can credit You a credit voucher of $15.00 to settle this." $15.00? I paid $21.99! And I no longer buy from that scamming site. I have repeatedly asked for their Company to just mail Me out a check. They have refused. I first bought on that site last year in about the month of October and never realized this seller scammed Me over $100 worth of selling Me fake jewelry until it was too late. They refuse refunds once You say You received the item, and I'm not a jewelry expert, so I didn't think I had been scammed until I went in to get a watch battery replaced and had the bracelet ($75.00) and one of the 2 rings on ($20 for both rings) The stones are fake. The silver is a coating of 925 silver from China. This seller continues to sell on this site. The site does not regulate any of their sellers.

I ordered a few things before Christmas which were less money from a different seller who looked honest, and received items in damaged and stained conditions this time from the seller. The seller swears they sent it clean and that You, as the buyer, stained it (basically calling You a liar). I have contacted the Better Business Bureau today as well as this site. I am hoping people do not trust the sellers on this site and get scammed like I did. I have yet to receive the measly $21.99, but it's the principal of how poorly the site is run and operated and how unfair they are treating Me. 40 emails??? Rediculous and unheard of.... It's just all about the money percentage wise, what they take from the sellers. Nothing of quality is sold on there I'm afraid.

I made a purchase and after waiting a week I was told that it will ship out the following week. After waiting, I inquired about my item and I never got a response, yet it showed that the seller read my message & logged on several times since I messaged her and deliberately ignored me and chose not to ship what I paid for. After waiting for 2 weeks of non shipment, I left her a well deserved negative feedback, and then she sent me harrassing vulgar messages full of unnecessary profanity. Vinted customer service ignored my messages & I never got the automatic refund after 7 days of non shipment as stated on the site so I had to file a chargeback with my credit card provider to get my money back. The seller princessivana (Monique Ivana) continuously sent me nasty messages, and even though I reported her, Vinted.com lack customer service all together and your message will not be responded to within 72 hours as described on website. You'll be lucky to get help from customer service at all!
