I was seeking a loan online. 2 days later i recieved a phone call from mr. brad jenkins from walford financial center in portland me. he told me i was approved for the least amount they service which was $5000. faxed me a legal looking agreement with terms and interest rate and repayment arrangements. m i signed the document and they asked for my legal id such as my dr. license and social security card. i faxed everything to them that day.
mr jenkins advised me due to my poor credit score they need 6 months of payments upfront...i sent them $880.00.
i never recieved a wire transfer and when i called them the next day, i was told mr jenkins is out ill today and a supervisor would talk to me. i very nasty man got on the line telling me my deposit was non refundable and the investors need another$1000 to fund this loan.
obviously i was scamed....the documents i recieved was what made this scam feel so real.
