I received a $400.00 Visa Gift Card for Christmas. I called and registered it. I then used it for my first purchase of approximately $100.00. I then used it in January in the amountof $21.76, and again in February for $3.85.
That was last time I was able to use it. I called the number on the back of the card and cannot obtain a real person, it's all automated.
I then went on the website and got the purchase history for January and February. I sent an email requesting information regarding my gift card. I have yet to hear from anyone regarding the issues with my card.
This is a total rip off and and it is against the law to steel money, and is missrepresentation of their product!!
These were not my funds but my in-laws spent their hard earned money and it is so unfair to them.
Do not purchase these cards. I will also go to their Facebook Page and write a post there also!
I got a few gift cards for Christmas 2012,I used them on everyday purchases without stopping until I came to my last card. the Walmart gift card for 50$. I tried to use it at Office Depot ,McDonald's and finally Walmart . rejected by all. I then went online to see if the card was indeed filled. I registered the card,got all my info supplied,found it to be loaded and headed to Walmart tI use. again I was rejected. I then called the phone number on the back of the card.
I told her the trouble I had,she also saw that the card had been used at those places and not paying so she( The Off Continent ) Walmart check card operator said there was a security hold,I couldn't use my card unless I get the receipt my gift givers (My Children) had. They didn't think there be a problem with a gift card so No receipt. there's a security hold on my card that I didnt request. the card didn't have my name on it it only reads "Gift Recepient" and you sign it (Done) and give the 3 numbers on the back for security.
they can put a security hold on anyone's gift card,and without a receipt,keep your gift.
