A few months ago, several thousand players noticed their accounts were no longer active on the servers, paying customers, free customers, any customers. Their excuse was that after all these loyal members had been a part of their servers for years (for some), they claimed their webhosting screwed them in some sort of 2 part verification method for their identity and they weren't able to provide it. Causing all the players, all the accounts, and all the donations to instantly vanish. Over 2000 people left that day never to return.
Couple months go by, they changed their name to Warmane from Molten-Wow. Releasing a new site, new look, and supposedly new stuff in the game. Played for a week figured they had got their stuff together finally, figured donate to boost my player and establish that I'm playing again. Wow, was I ever wrong. The day after I donated is where the problems started.
First off on the server, if you catch cheaters, you're supposed to report them. However what they fail to tell you is that you have to manually track down the admin characters IN GAME NOT ON THEIR FORUMS (even tho there is a section to report cheaters) and show them the screenshots/proof you might have. Figuring this was completely pointless considering the admins/mods are barely even on the game and usually on other servers than the one I played on. Figured post the information to that thread. BIG mistake, given a strike for reporting the player, which apparently you're supposed to do, but not supposed to do. If that makes any sense?
Next huge flag was awful, straight up awful. They restarted the servers to add a new patch and it literally destroyed EVERYTHING (Stuff refused to work, bosses weren't dropping stuff, everyone was getting constantly disconnected) And they even started a forum thread based on the complaints you were having. More like bait if you ask me, reported that I was having massive amounts of disconnect, then asked if they were some how gonna credit these players for going thru this nonsense considering in 5 hours i played a maximum of 15 minutes before getting disconnected randomly.
The last disconnect was the straw, went to the forums to see what the news was, couldn't log in.....hmmm? I thought this was funny, checked my email and sure enough my account apparently and randomly is now in the control of someone elses gmail, including forum account and everything, and even that last thread of me asking if they were gonna credit the users was gone. Mid game play, tossed out of game, only to find out they are censoring the people who are having issues, however still openly taking donations for a broken and busted setup.
My suggestion to all looking for a Lich King private server running 3.3.5a - 3.3.5 (12345) World of Warcraft. Stay away from anything that has Warmane or Molten-Wow's name on it. 2000+ got wise to it plus me now. Its not worth it, not worth your money, not worth even connecting, not even worth your website hits to be honest. Word is on the street, the admins/mods are complete drama queens constantly fighting amungst themselves and claim the last failure of Molten wow was due to "drama and infighting". So basically 2 stories, no one know why 4000+ had to lose their info, 2000+ walked and yet another story of another paying customer ripped off.
I've tried to contact them peacefully, basically I wanna know why the hell am I being censored as a paying customer, why lock me out of the forums, why allow cheaters on a platform where you punish the ones doing what you implore they do, basically what the hell happened to you guys? You had a wonderful platform, used to have wonderful servers......now its a nightmare and even the paying customers are literally telling people to steer clear. I've become so distraught with their bs and random crap happening that I've even personally setup my own server so I wont have to go thru this again. 2x they burned me and others, won't get the 3rd strike. I've asked for my money back, they in turn have outright ignored replying back to me.
