I sent watch to get fixed they sent me a email on price I payed the money It has been 2 months and no watch I have called them 10 times they have not returned my calls I also sent them a email also no answer I just want my watch back at this point. For the money you pay for these watches this should not happen.
Misleading Brand pages- states they will replace battery for $15 change crystal for $30 . That they are certified watch makers. etc.
I sent My Philip Stein watch for a crystal replacement estimates page $30-60. After receivng my watch, a Repair estimate was sent for $333.13 I refused then they sent a new estimate for $313.00. I sent an email back stating I can buy a new watch for this amount, just replace the crystal. They keep sending Estimate for $313.00 charging $14.00 for postage UPS ground weight for 0.50 is about $1.50 Not acceptable keeping my watch HOSTAGE.
Called Philip Stein about them they are NOT certified by Philip stein to fix this brand. They stated they may sue WatchRepairUSA
Please send my watch back NOW.

What an absolute scam! I took my watch to a local Master Watchmaker, upon inspection he told me I would need a service and a new crystal for about $200.00, the backlog was 3 months. I choose instead to send it to Watch Repairs USA, I should note that the watch was working and keeping time.
After nearly 2 weeks I received an estimate for over 600 dollars to repair a working watch, this included $75.00 for a "Custom" fitted crystal ( the watch has a standard plastic crystal). I refused the repair and sent nearly $30.00 to have it shipped back to me.
About a week later I got a call from the owner asking why I didn't want the repairs done, I explained that I wasn't prepared to spend that much money on the watch. He tried to talk me into it even offering a discount. I asked him to return the watch.
After more than a week they finally sent the watch, when it arrived the band was no longer fastened to the watch and the watch did not run at all. They had damaged it and now I can only hope that a reputable watchmaker can fix it.
DON'T SEND YOU WATCH HERE! This business is a scam and the best you can hope for is getting robbed for the extreme postage to possibly get it back......
Wanted a simple, cut and dry part only and after many emails, my questions were completely avoided and the only issue from Adam was to send the watch to this company for an estimate...Adam Carpentieri and this company is to be avoided by all means... Adam is a scam artist and defrauder at the best. He avoids all instruction, avoiding the questions which tells me this company is a scam... Buyer Beware of this one..... Thank Goodness I did not send my Panerai to him and get caught up in the mess so many people that DID send their watch to are experiencing now...
My report is as follows, I have a watch in which I wanted the battery and waterproof seal to the battery cover replaced. I sent it to this company to get an estimate on a replacment battery and seal.
After about a week I recieved my estimate via e-mail and it stated the following,
"" Our service technicians have examined your watch and determined it to be in need of the following repairs. Payment options will appear on the next page.""
NOTE: Battery replaced, watch not functioning properly. Results of pulse test indicates the watch movement is in need of repair.
Replacement of new quartz movement( on back order from factory takes 4-8 weeks. $59.99
Replace seals and gaskets/pressure test certification. $19.99
Subtotal: $79.98
Shipping: $11.57
Total : $91.55

This being a $100.00 Guess watch I declined. After you decline they ask you to do one of the following,
_ Negotiate repair cost
_ Ship watch back to me

I must say I was in shock. So after declining I sent customer care an email asking if they would just do what I had only wanted done to the watch. ( battery and seal) I recieved a reply from ADAM CAPATEIRI "" I replaced the battery myself and it did not start the watch"" No introduction as to who he was or anything that was it. I kindly replied and asked that the watch be returned to me. They did ( charging me $11.57 + $1.00tx = $12.57 for shipping)
I just recieved my watch back from them and knowing it worked prior to the battery being dead I went to Target on my lunch break to get a battery just to satisfy my own mind. I spent the $4.99 on the battery brought it to my office and put it in the watch..set the time to the one I am wearing and THE WATCH WORKS PERFECTLY FINE!!!! These people are complete con artists!
