I have two cell phones, and have been getting rolling robocalls, first on one, then the other, from many different 800 numbers claiming to be ATT. When answered, the robo message "Get back $500 on you phone bill. Go to www.wireless500.com" but there is no website with that exact number.
When you try to call back, you get a wrong number or buy signal. It started just after a late night call from an 800 number that I called back, and went through phone prompts sounding like ADT, and then a guy claimed to be wit ADT, but somehow didn't ring true. Told him to remove my number, and then the other calls started. I called ADT and they didn't recognize number, but said could be local dealer, but doesn't compute.
It's obviously a phone phishing scam to get your wireless info, and maybe by calling that first late night number claiming to be ADT started it? Just want it to STOP! Calls after 11 PM EST are waking us up! I called ATT to block but isn't working as too many numbers.
