World United Vacations Reviews

In Dec 2013, we were presented a discounted travel arrangement through World United Vacations. We attended a sales presentation while vacationing at Great Wolf Lodge in Wisconsin and assumed they worked in collaboration with Great Wolf. After answering our many questions, we paid our enrollment fee of $3719 plus $149 yearly membership fee. This guaranteed us a free condo for 1 night each year at Great Wolf, 40% off lowest prices any other time, plus great discounts at lodging, transportation and attractions worldwide.

Unfortunately we were not able to check out any of their promises on their website prior to signing the contract. Stupid us to believe the paperwork put in front of us.

When additional paperwork was sent through the mail later, there were significant differences from what we were told at the presentation -- questions that we specifically asked. Besides Great Wolf discount discrepancies, we later found a number of discrepancies in the benefits we would have with our upcoming Alaska trip -- such as not ALL Holland America cruises were covered. Being very disillusioned with the arrangements World United has with Great Wolf, we asked for our money returned -- which was denied.

World United President ***** ****** then personally guaranteed a number of Great Wolf benefits to make up for all of our problems. I have left messages for Clyde (President), tried to contact his secretary (mailbox not set up), left messages at the World United Customer Service (no reaponse) and finally talked to a live person at Reservations who said someone would call back. Not once has anyone returned my call.

World United's benefits with Great Wolf are fraudulent according to what we were told at the presentation. World United's promised special provisions (guaranteed by their President) were not delivered. World United's guarantee of money-saving benefits to thousands of travel opportunities is a joke. Their prices are higher. I'd like a full refund but no one will return my calls, the BBB's calls, or Consumer Protection's calls. I'm not dropping the matter until I receive my refund.
