WorthPoint Corporation Reviews

Worthpoint is an internet company that gives you information on what products sell for. Most of what I found was old eBay pices ,out dated, that items sold for.

I tried there free lookup, 7 lookups or 7 days, I looked up 2 items and then a page popped up saying activate your account. So I did but I didn't know that this lets them charge you $19.95 for a month of lookups.

So I found out later! I looked up 2 items and canceled my subscription.

When I asked for a refund I was sent a form letter stating that I looked up to many items and activated my 1 month account.

O and my account was shut down so a got 2 lookups and 2 hours for $19.95. This is fraud.

I paid through PayPay and have opened a dispute.

WorthPoint charged me without authorization. Customer service lies and is rude. They will yell at you and tell you your wrong. Do not trust or use this company. They are a scam

In January 2015, I noticed a charge from a company with whom I ceased business relations June 2014. The $9.99 debit had continued through January. I called WorthPoint and left a detailed message. No one called back. I reached a live person, and I detailed my complaint. I was told, her boos--the manager--would look into it and call me back. Nothing.

I searched the WWW, and found that WorthPoint has treated scores of others as they had me, some from this website. I took another tack.

I worked it out with American Express to get a full refund of the fraudulent charges. Beware of WorthPoint. There are other providers who perform the same service, but are honest.

Worthpoint appears to be nothing more than a boiler room operation wrapped in an antique search engine. Do Not give Worthpoint your Credit Card! It will be quite difficult to get them to stop charging it.

I signed up for a "free trial" which I then could not log into. Trying to get help, their technical support obfuscated the process even further. After two days I sent an email canceling and didn't think much of it. Worthpoint ignored the cancellation email, and charged my card for over a year. They refuse to refund the charges even thought I have a record of my troubles logging in, a record of the cancellation request, and have never actually logged into the Worthpoint site.

Clearly Worthpoint exists solely for the purpose of collecting credit card numbers and charging them. They don't seem that interested in building a reputation as a legit business. For example, Worthpoint has a phone number, but they don't answer and don't seem to return calls when one leaves a message.
